A friend suggested we go here as a group after the beach and it was really flavorful and really good food. It's family-owned and you can tell that they put a lot of heart and passion into what they are making and serving. I would recommend this to anybody who wanted Pho.

Honestly some of the best pho I’ve ever had. Extremely flavorful broth and generous portions. The Eastern European/Viet fusion is a very unique twist that you probably won’t find in other “fusion” restaurants. The spring rolls with sausage (I forget the Slavic name) were delicious. Ambiance is very cozy, almost like a rest stop in the alps, and makes for a really nice dining experience.

I'll agree that the phở broth is good, but the cold noodle dish with fried spring roll and beef left me wanting. The noodles were overcooked, the filling in the roll was something mushy and suspicious without flavor, and the 4-5 blackened slices of meat were like carbonized Pringles. My photo shows how it was presented, which looked great. But after turning over the two top slices, I found myself crunching grilled meat chips with no fat and no flavor except for that of charcoal. What would normally be the welcome experience of grill marks and sizzled fat was, instead, a lot of grit between my teeth. So thin, they were just asking to be burnt. Kind of like dog treats. I expected to pay extra for the neighborhood and atmosphere, but I'll stick to my old faithfuls for Vietnamese in Chicago. However, the server was expressive and sweet.
