I got a burger.. I know it's a dog spot.. but i wanted a burger.. it was meh. Hubby loved the Chicago dog. Great fries and the chocolate shake is delicious!

I was craving a hot dog since being away from Chicago for a month,and I just so happened to be driving by, on the way to water my mother in laws plants, stopped off for a quick one and was not disappointed, everything as it should be crammed into that delicious little box, satisfied my hotdog craving and drive away nice and satisfied!!! Not sure what all the hype is about. It's just a regular hot dog. It was no better than Portillos, Devil Dawgs or similar restaurants. In fact those two restaurants have better hot dogs. Nice workers here but the hot dog is nothing special.
I’ve always wanted to stop and get food from the Superdawg and had an opportunity the other day. It’s a very cool throwback to yesteryear. I love the drive up and order. It brings back memories of the old A&W spots. The lady took my order and had my food out pretty quick. Great service and speed. I ordered the superdawg and a pineapple shake. The superdawg was solid. It was served super hot and fresh which is usually great but I was unable to eat it right away it was so hot. The fries were just ok. Shake was good but not great. Overall I might come back for a burger but was glad I tried it once.

Superdawg is awesome and a gotta go to for a great version of a Chicago hot dog. The pickled green tomato sounds weird but is a great touch. Superdawg - Often imitated, never duplicated.
Parking: It’s a drive-in. You eat in your car so you park in a spot. More parking in the back for people who eat inside.
Kid-friendliness: You stay in your car. We didn’t go inside.
Wheelchair accessibility: Superdawg is a drive-in where you eat in your car. There is some interior seating but did not go in.
