Late night fun. No experience needed. Very kind and helpful staff. Can have 18 year olds if not too late.
Surge Billiards on Montrose is nothing short of spectacular! This excellent pool hall boasts great happy hour deals, with table prices that won't break the bank. Not only is it a haven for pool enthusiasts, but it also doubles as an amazing coffee bar. The space is expansive, offering plenty of room to sit, chill, and enjoy yourself. The drink selection is solid, ensuring there's something for everyone.
The APA pool leagues here are fiercely competitive and incredibly fun, adding to the vibrant atmosphere, especially on Tuesday nights. Even when it's busy, the accommodating staff ensures you'll get a table without hassle.
What truly makes Surge Billiards exceptional is the people. Victor, the regional manager, keeps everything running smoothly, while Alex, the bartender, is a riot—he's got jokes ?, but really, his playful banter adds to the fun. Ely, Sofi, Danielle, Roberto, Annie, Lilly, Jake, and the rest of the team are awesome and truly contribute to the welcoming vibe. Spending a day, a weekend, or even a whole week here is great and you won't regret!
I love this place! I met my family here and was blown away by the creative space, FANTASTIC coffee, and EPIC service. Alex, the bartender was wonderful and treated us like family. I am not a pool player but had a blast just hanging out. I will definitely be back!
Always a great time! Great location, very nice set up, clean, spacious, & amazing service! Will always recommend & definitely continue to come back!
A little pricier than some other pool halls but it more than makes up for it. Between the music, the drinks (all syrups for cocktails made in house) and the general vibe, it's def one of the coolest places to spend a Saturday night
Hosted a 30th Birthday Party here! Table rental was affordable and everyone had a great time. The drinks were also amazing
Chill place, lots of pool tables so I’ve never had to wait

It’s ok. Drinks are good and priced decent but the bartenders aren’t very friendly depending on who you are/what you look like. $30 an hour for a pool table which is insane with no free pool days. Only half off tables Tuesday-Friday from 2pm-7pm. I’d come back but I’m not playing pool and I wouldn’t even consider asking any staff what they like that’s on the menu, it would be a waste of your time. The atmosphere is cool.
Great neighborhood pool hall, nice 360 bar.
Nice, clean food was good. People are nice. bartenders are super welcoming
Shuffleboard is taken care of - oddly not common ?. The staff was so nice and the beer options were great. I want to come back for billiards soon!
I have nothing bad to say about this place. The atmosphere is awesome. I love their bar! I recommend their Irish whiskey coffee cocktail. Is my to go when I arrive. Their pool tables are excellent as well. Check out Siboney restaurant on site too for delicious appetizers and Cuban sandwiches
