Always a fun time with Sky and Zac and more so especially this last weekend doing the bougie upgrade for the very first time for Valentine’s Day. Sky is never short of inviting and ensures you’re taken care of the entire time. I admire Zac’s professionalism, always taking time to answer questions and having great conversations all around!!

My husband and I dined on 2/13/26 at this Sushi by Boū location inside the Emily hotel. Chef Jens was phenomenal, professional, and being served by him was the highlight of our evening but unfortunately many other factors led to a poor overall experience.
First off, we had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated. For our 8pm 60-min 17-course Boujee omakase seating, we checked in at 7:55 and were told they were running 15 min late. We did not get seated till 8:35pm. We were then rushed out of the counter seating at 9:15pm and moved to the couch. Meanwhile, there was a party of 8 also seated with us at 8:35pm who continued to sit at the bar counter for at least an additional 10 minutes finishing their wine, beverages and food.
We’ve been to other locations of Sushi by Boū and have never been kicked out of our seating, let alone in under 60 minutes. Additionally, we had planned to get an additional add-on hand roll at the end of the tasting experience, which is always allowed other times we’ve dined, but were strictly denied and asked to pay the bill because they were “running late.” To try to remedy the situation, the bartender brought my husband a sake shot but it felt rather unprofessional and meaningless.
Overall, this experience felt quite disappointing and not up-to-par with what we’d expect.

The team here is truly the best. My friends and I were welcomed with the best energy, music, and drinks when we arrived. We loved learning about each course chef prepared and trying new things. We're always taken care of when we visit and will definitely be back again soon!
I went here for restaurant week and I enjoyed every bit of it. The sake cocktail was a great pairing and I also added on the ice cream which was delicious. Also, I would like to give tyshon (hopefully I spelled his name correctly ) kudos. He was so personable and made the evening so much fun. I’d loved to come back.

Amazing experience. Grabbed an early dinner for Restaurant Week. It was an amazing experience, from the hostess to our chef!
Staff were super friendly and really went above and beyond to ensure a great guest experience was had. Chef was amazing and very passionate about his craft. Loved the experience from start to finish.

The most fun we've had in a restaurant in Chicago! Went during restaurant week for the omakase experience - each dish one after another was amazing. Mind-blowing flavors and such high quality fish. Especially loved the fatty tuna and BBQ eel. All the staff were so friendly and fun, made the experience all the more special and a big reason for planning to go back! Very cool to be able to watch the chefs prepare the food and chat with them during the meal.

This is one of the best omakase experiences I've ever had. Super friendly staff, amazing food, great presentation all for $100! I'm going once a month.
A great surprise. We went as part of Chicago Restaurant Week and really enjoyed ourselves. It's a small place (REALLY small) tucked back in the Emily Hotel. You get there through the chic lobby, then through a door that looks like you're going to the boiler room. You reach a door that opens onto a tiny dark space and realize that's the place! Like you've stumbled on a secret club. You sit at a small bar right where the sushi chefs create the offerings. It was great fun, and each mouthful was delicious, from salmon to tuna to scallop to eel. For dessert, a choice of alcohol-infused ice cream or sorbet; very nice. This is the kind of discovery CRW was made for, and I think we'll visit again next time we're here. (They also have a location in Boca Raton, where we currently live, so we may visit there.) An excellent and surprising experience.
Went last night and had an amazing experience! We did the 12 courses and it was still pretty filling. I think next we will do the 17 and that will be the perfect amount. Definitely recommend
