The 17 course Omakase was exceptional, the service was on point. they have the timing down to a science. It is a hidden gem. You are transported into the 90s, it almost like a 90's hip hop speakeasy. It is truly a restaurant that is one of a kind.

Went on 11.02.24 for a birthday dinner, and I absolutely love the atmosphere! Food was 10/10, service was 100/10, and the intimacy of the setting was top tier. Skye is absolutely amazing and created such a nice experience for me and my party!! Will definitely be coming back!

We had a such a great time dining out at Sushi by Bou. We’ve been to the Gold Coast location and West Loop and both are always a good time. The service is spectacular and the staff is wonderful. We really enjoyed our last trip to the West Loop location. Everyone was so friendly and very attentive. We’ll be back! :)

What an unforgettable dining experience we had at sushi by bou. This is a *private omakase dinner* experience and it is unmatched. You will be with about 6-8 others to enjoy. Skyye and her team were fantastic! The chef personally prepares each course right in front of you, curating a unique menu based on seasonal ingredients and your preferences. Highlights include melt-in-your-mouth toro and delicacies like uni, paired perfectly with sake. I highly recommend getting the sake flight! It includes all of the different types of sake and truly is a great deal. Also, if you love caviar I would definitely recommend it for the price of $100 that includes assortment of items that pairs well with it. The intimate setting, exquisite presentation, and attentive service make this dinner more than a meal. I will be back and will be bringing friends.

The intimate setting made our dining experience feel special, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our meal with their insights. We truly savored every moment, and we can’t wait to return for another unforgettable evening. Thank you, Sushi by Bou, for an incredible dining experience!

got the friends and family deal $70 for two 12-course omakase. it was a fun experience and ambiance. we brought our 1 year old daughter and she had a blast. the staff was very accommodating and brought us a high chair from the hotel. they also let us wait in the space even though i think the groups typically wait in the hotel area. my favorite was the miso cod and my husband liked the fatty tuna. we got another fatty tuna a la carte but it was $12. we also got the highball and old fashioned and both were good and not too sweet. I would go for the experience but don't expect to get full.

Had such a fun time at sushi by bou! It was my friends first omakase experience and i would say the 12 course is the best intro to the omakase world. The shiso cocktail and the highballs were yummy! A glass of sancere paired excellent with the fish. Staff was attentive and sweet! Music was groovy!

Amazing omakase experience! I was not expecting the atmosphere but was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the fun and unique experience. Food was so delicious and fresh and I am excited to go back!

The manager, Skye, was so lovely and has such a wonderful personality. The other staff that were working, Win, Ump, Pat and Taechon were also lovely and so willing to help as well. Overall I had such an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique omakase experience.

I loved everything about Sushi by Bou. The vibe is different than a traditional omakase one might think of and there needs to be MORE like it! I love the underground vibe. Skye was amazing and treated us with 200% generosity from the beginning. For the price, I would say it’s worth it. It’s my second time coming and enjoyed both times. You are getting an authentic omakase experience coming here. just because the walls aren’t white, doesn’t mean it isn’t legitimate.

shoutout to the other staff: win, ump, pat, taechon that was nothing but friendly! you all made the experience so much better ◡̈

Dietary restrictions: i have a non-severe shellfish allergy and the chef asked me before we started the course. i appreciate the accommodation as i know some other omakase places won’t make even the slightest of change to their menu for ppl like me.

My hubby and I decided to try out this location for my birthday since we both love omakase. So glad I rebooked for this location because the vibe, people, food and service was impeccable. Huge thank you to Skye Demarco and Chef Win for taking care of us.

p.s. We both went bougie style and did the 17 course for $100 and totally worth it!! The cocktails were ok but they out did themselves with the service.

Service was top notch! Joe, Tashon, Chef win, Chef bank, Jackie, and of course Skye - treated us so well. There was a problem with the reservation so 2 people couldn't join us, poo on the reservation team, so aside from that, the food and drinks and service were perfect. I recommend the sake flight for all the fun flavors

Omakase was delicious, although we didn’t get to try the uni. They ran out of the uni, but the rest of the food was high quality.
