This place is awesome. Best sushi in Chicago. Sit at the bar and say hi to Mitch and Brian.

I was in towards the end of service on a Sunday so I can't speak to “typical” volume, but it was quiet and quaint. The sushi is outstanding and is the spot to go for old school Toro lovers. The In & Out and the Moulton were my absolute favorites!

Sushi Hall is one of my favorite spots in the Lakeview/Lincoln Park area. The food and drinks are amazing and the service is always top tier.

We came during happy hour and much of what we ordered was 2for1. The server was very nice. The chef knows what he is doing. People watching by the window was fun. Combination of ingredients seemed unique but the flavors “familiar”. The company made the meal all the better and the restaurant a short walk from our son's apartment. This is our second visit to this restaurant. We would go more but the neighborhood has a lot to offer.

Chef Mitch is the best. Not only was today my son's birthday but it was also Chef Mitch's birthday and my son who turned ten had the best birthday ever because of Mitch.

We love Sushi Hall for great food and have been there many times but this time our female server was rude, slow and inattentive. It was too bad bec the food , the menu selections and sushi chef are excellent.

The food was great, my 8 years old loves the chicken teriyaki we love the sushi and there is something for everyone. Thank you for a great time in you restaurant.

Awful sushi. So over seasoned it's like they're hiding the bad quality fish. Terrible food. Great service.

Not my favorite sushi restaurant. Understaffed and somewhat poor service. Food was just okay. Fries were great. For the price I would recommend yellow tail over his restaurant.

Went for restaurant week, and it was a good experience, a little slow on service.

I liked the sushi quality but the rolls were kind of mid. Server was nice but not super helpful in selecting sake or making recommendations. Service took FOREVER.
We ended up canceling half our order because it took so long. Drinks took a really long time to come out. Like really long. Longer than our first round of food. We asked for gf soy sauce and she kept saying she'd bring it and didn't even do it until our 3rd round of food. Overall I'd eat here again solely because of food quality but wouldn't seek it out because service was not great and ridiculously slow.

Chef Kim was so fun and nice! The sushi was fresh and the rolls were amazing. Mr. Kim Checked on us a couple times and we even got a few fist bumps. Looking forward to coming back.

Sushi was OK. I ordered a rice bowl and it was not good at all, especially for the price. Just the tuna, white rice, few cucumbers and salmon roe. Not flavorful at all, even with the soy sauce. My cousin ordered salmon pieces and they tasted frozen in the middle of it. Idk how this sushi is #3 in chicago.
