Host was rude and didn't honor our reservation. We arrived 15 min early and were told to expect to wait till our assigned reservation. Meanwhile many other parties sat before us and even at reservation time they still sat others before us until finally offering us a table by the door where it was cold and we asked for a different table. They then said probably had to wait 10 mins which we had no issue with. They sat another 3 or 4 parties before us didn't sit down till almost an hour after arriving and we were seated at the sushi counter when we had a reservation for a table... the host was more interested in seating people she knew or other parties than ours. Food was great as always and our server was very nice but that host... man she was rude and not attentive to the situation.
Best sushi spot in Chicago. I love coming here. The food is always consistent and the service is always great.
Fantastic food! A little bit loud and good service. It was restaurant week so it was busy and crowded. We would definitely go back!
Great menu--food and drinks (although the ingredients in the cocktails can be a little hard to figure out). It was difficult to narrow down food choices because there were so many great items. A few that are favs at more expensive restaurants but are the same excellent quality and a better value. Great energy in the restaurant as well. Cool vibe even according to my teenager.
Food and service were very good but it's extremely noisy (downtown location) and the server was very soft spoken and spoke very fast. Difficult to hear her.
Took my partner here for his Birthday because he loves sushi. He said it was probably the best sushi he has ever had, and the server was quick and efficient, also super friendly. Recommend having a reservation, it does get busy especially on the weekends.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The waiter actually walked away in the middle of taking our order and didn't return for several minutes. The food took an incredibly long time, the table was never cleared, and we had to ask for basic utensils. It was so disappointing that I had to leave with my children before the food even arrived, leaving my husband to settle the bill.
We ordered the edamame which is the best thing on the menu. The sushi San role was mush, I didn't know what I was eating, when the servers dropped off the food they never identified the rolls. Turns out is was fatty tuna??? It had no flavor. None of the rolls stood out and the crispy rice was obviously prepped ahead of time because it was cold and hard. Over all a disappointment from lettuce.
Experience overall was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated and served promptly. My daughter has a gluten sensitivity and they were very accommodating to her requests. Highly suggest this restaurant!
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Our server Nancy was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a lovely experience.

Was quite disappointed with our visit unfortunately. Maybe I just prefer “mid tier” sushi but the rolls we ordered did not hit the spot at all. Tasted fresh but texture and flavor were lacking. Fun music and cute place but i would not go back
Preston provided excellent service. The happy hour specials were delicious. Their sizzling rice dish was fantastic. The overall experience was excellent, although we were seated for a few extra minutes before having someone come take our order, but Preston stepped up and provided great service.
