Dinner AYCE buffet. Fresh, delicious. Excellent selection. I love their sushi (eel, clam), sashimi salad, hamachi kama, mochi ice cream, soft shell crab, fried oyster. Friendly, diverse staff. Attentive service from Fah. Competitive pricing at top-tier quality. Equal to top sushi spots at half the price. Popular, fills quickly. I recommend making a reservation. I stopped by on my way to the airport at 4:35pm, and there were already three groups seated ahead of me (dinner starts at 4:30pm). Will return when in Chicago again.

Very good signature rolls and nigiri. Good deal for the all you can eat but big portions so be careful! Will be back :)

Always a great experience here! My husband and I love coming here for all you can eat sushi! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Food was great as always and left so full haha. I definitely recommend sitting on their patio while you can!

We came in and were told to wait, but they wouldn’t even let us sit down while waiting to be seated. Extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Won’t be coming back.

The service was good and the restaurant is much easier to park and reach than the Logan Square location. Unfortunately, the sushi was not as good. The rice was really hard and fish was cut too large and kind of fatty. Tasted like grocery store sushi. The desserts were also hard to eat. Sadly, we won’t be returning to this one.

We walked in at 2:45PM. Nasty looks, rolling eyes from the staff, and after 3 random "we close at 3PM. A manager" by the name of Angel with a NASTY attitude shows up and barks that they won't seat us because they "close at 3".
Please change your unprofessional attitudes,, and IF you indeed close at 2:45 don't list it as 3PM.

I had one of the salmon rolls with avocado. What happened to me I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Needless to say the food poisoning was so bad it was coming out both ways. It is still happening as I write this review. Never get sushi hear ever again this is the sickest I’ve been in my whole life. I am a healthy 22 year old man.

Server does not have table manners…
Took the menu off of my hands while I was looking at it just to sit it down on the table. Never came back to refill my water and then gave me this bad look as I left like he actually deserved a good tip. By the way this was on a Monday afternoon

This place has some nice sushi options, although it is hard to get into outside of off hours. We came on a Saturday at 2pm and didn’t need to wait for a table. Kids are welcome.

They have an all you can eat option as well as a traditional menu of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. We had a salmon salad and it was both fresh and tasty. The sushi rolls were mid, they were fresher than other neighborhood places but overall the rice wasn’t as soft as you want it.

The service was good, and the green tea was good.

Kid-friendliness: Kid options, kids were inside

People who rate this establishment well, I feel sorry for you, it means you have never eaten delicious sushi. It goes back to Europeans, they cook Ukrainians deliciously. It's not tasty here.
The service is bad. The kitchen is very dirty. The toilet is very dirty. The bar is also not very clean. Horror.

I got food poisoning here at 2/17/2025. Stomach cramps and other things , which I would rather not mention. The quality has been going down at Sushi Taku. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to going and now I will never return.

A very spacious and delicious option in Wicker Park! My friends got AYCE sushi and I ordered the rainbow roll for lunch. Service was variable, as some of our dishes came out quickly and others were a bit more slow. The rolls were absolutely scrumptious and the appetizers all looked sublime! A lot of natural lighting and seating.

The place is definitely popular, prices are good, Food is not bad, service is ok.
The menu lacks some colors and descriptions,

The all you can eat portions are huge, the restaurant has the policy where you have to pay for the leftovers, which is alright.
BUT in case if you want to try different things you’ll fail finishing them (because of the size of portions)
If you order something to try and you didn’t really like it you still have to finish it or you’ll have to pay for it.

Overall it’s a good place for a date night.
