So happy I stumbled onto this sweet bakery this morning. Excellent sourdough, delicious and not-too-sweet cinnamon roll, and super-tasty, non-traditional blueberry muffin. Very pleasant guy at the counter. I will happily return!

This place is a must try! The owner, Andrew, is so incredibly sweet and very creative with everything that he puts out on the menu. I was just in for my morning coffee stop and tried their kimchi focaccia and it is beyond words delicious! They add new items to their menu so it never gets boring. Highly recommend stopping in and trying their delicious coffee and baked goods!

They have a barista with big, strong hands. He makes good Raf. Their pastries are the best. The baker is a pro, I read an article about him on Chicago tribune.

One of the best croissants in Chicago. Other pastries are delicious and "not too sweet"
Sourdough is also perfect at a great price

Cute neighborhood bakery. We got the strawberry danish, maritozzi and milk bread. We ate the pastries on the back patio. Everything was lovely and not too sweet. Will be back.

I stopped by Sweet Rabbit for a quick afternoon snack a few days ago and while the pastries are awesome I think the customer experience can be improved. There is ample seating that actually looks cozy, but the restaurant is a little awkward to navigate. There's no clear spot to stand in line or wait for drinks and the staff isn't around or friendly enough to help.
I came in around Noon and there was no one nearby the till, which did give me time to peruse the case, but I didn't see any menu nearby or prices so I just sort of picked what looked good. Drinks are listed small and far away from where the register is so it's kind of hard to piece together your order.
When someone did come out from the back to take my order, they said probably less than 2 words to me, but did quickly grab my pastries and hand me a drink. A little more friendliness could go a long way here in retaining repeat customers.
All the minor complaints aside, I am SO happy to have a local bakery and coffee shop in the area and they fill a much needed void for us south of the main Roscoe Village strip. The pastries are to die for and I can't wait to try more!

Exquisite pastries and sourdough. Obviously skilled bakers who can creatively enhance the classics without going over the top. Ambience was lacking to me so I wouldn’t stay — it’s more of a take-out vibe. Service was fine but there was only one cashier-barista so it got hectic quickly.

Decent pastries but bad service. Gorgeous morning and the patio was locked up- asked if they could open it up and they said NO. It strictly doesn’t open until 9am even though the shop opens earlier.

We went to Sweet Rabbit this Saturday and enjoyed our visit! English muffins were good enough to eat without toppings, blueberry muffin was soft with a great crunchy muffin-top and the peach Danish was so fresh with a sweet cream filling. Coffee was hot and staff were helpful and friendly. Special thank you to Mike for being so kind to customers that showed up just before closing!

Good quality pastry and good coffee. I wasn’t lucky to still find the items that I wanted to try, but the danish is quite good.

Phenomenal bakery and lovely welcoming staff. I think I’ve had every pastry they make and most of the breads and everything is impeccable.
