The owner is extremely nasty when it comes to conflict resolution.
My girlfriend ordered from the online menu and ordered some items that weren’t available for the day. (If they weren’t available, you shouldn’t even be able to order them in the first place) Once she arrived to pick up the food she was told that a select few items weren’t available on this day. She then placed a new order in person but only paid for the cookies in this new order. She realized that she had only paid for the actual meal via the online order which included items that weren’t available. The original order from online was significantly more than what she purchased in person so she called about the difference. Once the owner got to the phone she was nasty from the start of the conversation assuming someone was accusing her of wrongdoing when all my girlfriend was inquiring about was the difference. The owner was loud and when my girlfriend asked why she was being so nasty and let her know that she had planned to continue being a loyal customer, the owner yelled “don’t!”. We have been customers since July 2024, but that ends today. All we ever do is try to find Black businesses we can support but this place made that challenging.

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I’m glad I did. Great atmosphere walking in and was greeted immediately. The esthetics and decor is beautiful and well put together. I took the suggestion of the OMG burger and spiced brown sugar latte. Both came out at the same time and were made fresh. Servers checked on me frequently, as well as the chef and the owner. I love when a place is attentive and when the owner speaks. I was too full to grab a dessert however I will be back!

As you know I’m a brunch-aholic so I stopped by this new place is the south suburbs and it did not disappoint. The chckn and waffles were delicious and the oatmilk matcha rivals ⭐️💵 Shockingly 😲. The Mac and cheese was a little salty. The music set the perfect tone, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was subtle enough to blend into the background, yet rich enough to add a soothing layer to the overall experience. The staff were warm and friendly.

The place is a hidden gem very cozy and classy at the same time. The food is great I had the jackfruit tacos and delicious blackberry lemonade. And oh my God the fried pound cake words can't explain the moist and sweet tasting dairy free. I will definitely will be going back the owner Cheryl and her team are awesome.

I had there cupcakes…absolutely horrid. Stale, expensive, and lackluster. Customer service is in the pits of hell. As a buisness you should want to provide high quality products to your patrons. Why was this $15?!?!? 😭that’s $3.75 for a single bite of totally mediocre cupcake. I wanted savory food but they told me they wouldn’t have a menu for two more days. I also only wanted 2 mini cupcakes but they said i needed to order in groups of 4 (i assumed because of packaging) but clearly that’s not the case since they’re two-per package here.

One of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Chicago. Had the Best Burger and a chocolate cupcake. Everything made fresh and tasted incredible. Been here multiple times and the service is always great. Super friendly staff and super tasty food. Sweet vegan bakes is always a treat when I an in Chicago.

The chocolate chip cookies are delectable! You have to have the mac n cheese. I had the BBQ no beef and it was a delicious sloppy joe that I've been looking for. Definitely will be coming back! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious! The cupcakes I just bought are hands down the best I’ve ever had. They are perfectly moist, with a rich and flavorful frosting that’s not overly sweet. The presentation was beautiful, making them ideal for any occasion. Will definitely be coming back for more! The cake artist was very skilled and polite..

I ordered a large cake for a birthday party to serve 25-30 people. It was certainly expensive, but I understand it was a rush order. Cake itself tasted decent; however I was disappointed in the service/delivery. I placed the order on Tuesday and scheduled to pick up the cake at 2PM on Saturday - everything seemed set. They then called me on Friday and told me that the store was in fact closed on Saturday (unbeknownst to me), and that they would need to move up the pick up time to 1PM, which was slightly inconvenient but fine by me. I showed up to the store at 12:55PM, only for them to call me and say they were running 30 minutes late. Because I live far away, I decided to wait around the area; however, they did not show up until 1:45PM, and when they did there was no acknowledgement of being late or changing the time around. There was another woman waiting with me who had a similar experience and was also disappointed in the service. We both agreed that we likely wouldn’t be back.
