I've never posted a review before, but I had to praise Tony's hospitality and service. I had a long day of travel into Chicago for the weekend and stopped by this sweetgreen location for a bite on my first night. Tony went above and beyond to take care of me, and it meant so much. The food was also fresh and delicious.

Rude staff. Took over 20 minutes for my mobile order to be ready and it was made incorrectly. . Asked for it to be remade, they said they no longer had the items. Asked for a refund and was told no. Asked for the salad to be subbed and still did not receive the items paid for.

Do not order the Miso glazed salmon. It is anything but glazed. It is a plain piece of salmon. This is the second time this has occurred. I tried a different location but with the same results. Definitely, I will no longer get salmon, but I may also stop ordering from them because there is no excuse for this.

Avoid this Sweetgreen at all costs. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken bowl through Uber Eats after a long, exhausting day — and what I got was a total joke. The chicken was wrong (boiled and flavorless), no sweet potatoes, no crunchy onions — basically none of the ingredients that make the bowl worth eating. Absolutely disappointing. Maybe it’s tolerable if you eat there in person, but do not risk delivery. One of the worst takeout experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I came to Sweetgreen on North Ave for the first time expecting a fresh, positive experience, but I was met with the complete opposite. Every server I interacted with had a noticeably negative attitude. They cut me off mid-sentence multiple times and seemed to be rushing me through the ordering process even though the line wasn’t long. I asked a couple of simple questions about the menu since it was my first time, and instead of offering a friendly explanation, I got curt, entitled responses that made me feel like a burden for even asking.

There was no effort to make the experience welcoming or clear.

I came here 20 minutes before closing and April went above and beyond to make sure I’d get ingredients I wanted even though it was the end of the night. She’s usually is a cook and came to help with a rush. The meat is so good! I had chicken yesterday and salmon today. I know it’s just a salad but I think it’s the meat that makes it so good. Really well seasoned and cooked.

Dramatically understaffed and it shows. During busy periods the staff are literally running around trying to take care of customers. The food quality then suffers. I've had orders with crunchy, undercooked rice and that were thrown together long after their online system said my order was ready. Whoever is running this place needs to understand that you can't run a business like this and expect customers to be happy. Not to mention it is very apparent their staff is miserable.

I’m at this sweetgreen almost every day, and there are plenty of reasons I keep coming back! Most notably is the kind and welcoming service. Special shoutout to Chrissy, who is always very warm, thoughful, and remembers my favorite orders. I love eating here!

I go to this location all the time and I usually get a great portion of chicken. However, tonight there was only, no joke, 6 pieces in my chicken avocado salad. I asked for a little more and she argued with me stating I’ll be charged extra. Eventually the other worker told her just put a little more but I’m sorry I didn’t know this was coming out of your bank account. Let alone I’m paying $16 for a salad, which comes with bread which you’re out of bread so I don’t get that either. So should I say, “oh take a dollar off cause you’re out of bread”? Do better, as customers were paying your employees.
