Went to Drake Tuesday (12/23) and really enjoyed the vibe and ambiance.
The DJ, however, was absolutely terrible and the only reason I made this review. He did not know how to transition songs (he’d use police siren audio to cover his bad technique) and he would not stop yapping on the microphone in the middle of each song he played.
Genuinely would have been a 10/10 night if the club just played a Drake playlist off of Spotify with a little bit of Rihanna/pnd/21 savage sprinkled in. Please do not use that DJ anymore bc he is not a DJ.

Our food and drinks were delicious and delivered promptly. Service was very attentive and friendly. We celebrated a birthday and had a great night!
I really enjoyed soaking up the lovely Latin vibes. Bar Tabu is now one of my favorites to hang out at. Such a cool ambiance! I like this place a lot.😀
We’ve been here multiple times for birthday brunches and it’s always been so much fun!! Bottomless mimosas for 2 hours and a great DJ playing Latin music on Sunday’s. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. The owners really went all out on making this place look vibrant and fun.
Pictured is the Cochinita Benedict which is unique with the esquite fritter. We’ve also had the avocado toast, guacamole, coconut French toast and Churroulette (careful one has habanero!) and all were good!!
I definitely recommend this place for a fun date, girl’s night or birthday event!!!

I originally went to Tabu for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday and instantly fell in love with the venue — it’s so cute! Their brunch menu is amazing. The coconut French toast is definitely a must-try!
I went back to try their dinner options but the camera did not eat first this time... I can confidently say that every plate I’ve tried has been great. The food never misses!
Apart from the food, the music and customer service are always on point. I love coming here with friends, but it’s also one of my favorite solo spots.
From brunch, to dinner, to nightlife experience 10/10 — highly recommend Tabu!

I absolutely love this place, the people and the food! If I could give them higher ratings, I would. I come here most saturday nights for the club experience and the sunday brunch as well. It has such a good vibe. I'll def be back again!

Dinner at Tabu with my girlfriend was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone — warm lighting, upbeat music, and an effortlessly stylish vibe that made the night feel special but still relaxed.
I ordered the steak frites, and it was absolutely on point — perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning, and the presentation was sleek without being over the top. I also tried their new peppercorn Paloma, which turned out to be a total standout. It had that perfect balance of spice, citrus, and smooth tequila — definitely one of the best cocktails I’ve had in Chicago lately.

Just had my first time at Tabu Dinner and it did not disappoint. The vibe is the perfect mix of upscale and lively, feels like the right place to make a night special.
I went all in on the food: the nachos with steak were next-level, the carne asada tacos were packed with flavor, and I topped it off with a carajillo that hit just right. The service was attentive, the bottle service made the night feel extra VIP, and the overall energy of the place kept the night buzzing.
If you want amazing food, great drinks, and a memorable night out in Chicago, Tabu Dinner is a must. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. 🌮🥩☕🍷

This was a cute restaurant! Was kind of empty on Halloween weekend but it was an enjoyable ambience !
Staff was amazing and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. Palomas perfection. Steak cooked and seasoned well. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and hot.
