Only ordered takeout. The quality of the food is amazing. After trying pad Thai all over uptown, Tac Quick has by far the best tasting dish! I’ve also had basil fried rice (mind blowingly good), and the seafood glass noodles (spicy! But solid).

Highly recommend, this is my new go to Thai restaurant.

Right off Irving Park Road, Tac Quick is unassuming—but absolutely wonderful.

Everything was great from start to finish, with impeccable service and fantastic food. We started with the dumplings, which were outstanding and instantly became a new favorite.

For mains, we had the Basil Fried Rice and the Basil entrée with chicken. The fried rice was delicious and savory, with a great balance of flavors and plenty of well-cooked chicken. The basil entrée was just as impressive, featuring big pieces of chicken that were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.

Drinks were excellent as well—the beers were solid, but the Thai Iced Tea Martini is an absolute must.

All around, an incredible experience. This is officially our new neighborhood spot!

My favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. The food and drinks are excellent, and the movie posters give it a unique charm. It’s laid-back without feeling too casual — a great choice for both a date or a business dinner or your occasional eating out. The price is quite fair, given how good the food is.

Clean, very nice staff, delicious food, almost a secret as many people don't know what Tac means - it almost reads like Taco - but it stands for Thai Authentic Cuisine. The Quick doesn't sound either like a comfortable place where you can take your time. A great Thai restaurant, one of the best in the neighborhood!

The owner and staff are lovely and friendly. I thoroughly enjoy going here. Food is flavorful and interesting. The ambience is warm and the building must have had many incarnations. A neighborhood treat.

The food is great, the drinks are great, the service is outstanding, and the prices are reasonable! I don’t know how I lived in the area for 2 years and only discovered this place tonight. They’ll be seeing a lot more of me moving forward.

The garlic chicken in sauce is delicious! I look forward to being more adventurous next time, but tonight I just needed a Mai Tai and some straightforward comfort food to go. The bartender made me a couple of delicious drinks and helped me through the menu. What I got far exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning to try the “secret” menu.

One of the few Thai restaurants that make spring rolls.
We ordered ginger chicken- very disappointing. Mostly green and red peppers, little chicken, and very small serving.

This restaurant purports to be very vegetarian/vegan/gluten free friendly. However today was the third or fourth time that there was chicken in my dish that I ordered with tofu only, no chicken, vegan and gluten free. Each time it's happened, they have apologized and taken off the charge or remade it, but it's happened 3 or 4 times. Sorries don't matter when they can't get it right, steer clear if you have food allergies especially.

Amazing food, incredible service, very quick. I’m convinced you get twice as much food if you do takeout rather than dining in, but it’s all good.

Just wrapped up a killer dinner at Tac Quick — spent around $60 on two people (including a couple drinks from the bar). We kicked it off with Moo Ping and the stunning Yum Woon Sen Talay from the secret menu (highly recommend asking for it), then dove into Pad See Ew and the Pla Lad Prik. Spot is colorful, fun vibe, staff legit chill and on it. For real, feels like a hidden gem in Wrigleyville — I’ll definitely be back.
