Horrific sound, blown speakers from the 80s, I will never go back for any sound performances. It was too hot like a sauna. The engineer should be fired immediately. 07-13-25

It's a relatively small, fun looking, space upstairs with a sometimes - fun piano bar setup. Overall not a bad place but you have to get up to order drinks at the bar and the artist can be a bit hit or miss as usual with places like this. Drinks were tasty.

Love coming here whenever in the area. Usually there's a band or piano player specially after 9pm. Drinks are delicious and they have a small menu from the restaurant next door. Bar tenders are awesomene and friendly.

My friend and I came here for the first time tonight and we had a blast. Great tunes from Keyvan and amazing drinks from Jake (HIS VOICE!) and the crew. We are definitely coming back 🍹

Great place to hang out and chill before a show. Usually some casual live piano or guitar. Food from next door and tacos were unique and delectable.

This place was dope! We went on a Friday night and we had a blast. The piano man did an amazing job with our requests. The whole bar was singing and having a ball. The drinks were off the chain. Probably some of the best I’ve had. We had the Strawberry Buck and Dune Buggy. So good I’ll come back just for the drinks! Our table also ordered the pulled pork nachos and they were fire.
This is a very small place and seems like tables could get filled up quick so I’d suggest you get there early.

One of the best spots in Pilsen for drinks and entertainment. The piano players always do a great job performing and taking song requests. Bartenders make generous cocktails and price range is reasonable. Pro tip, if you come on a Saturday night during the summer there is a good chance you’ll catch an after hours wedding celebration which makes for some great people watching and entertainment!

What a great spot. Pictured a quiet mellow piano bar. Sax player showed, others grabbed the mic and next thing you know it was a ripping good time. Great bar staff too.

Fun atmosphere, cozy vibes and good music.

Parking: Parking can be tricky, 18th is busy. If you drive a few blocks away on side streets there are blocks of no permit free parking.

Thank you, Tack Room, for having Rene Avila's Afro Cuban Band tonight! They were soulful, I was vibin' and having a great time the entire evening. All I had was a spicy margarita and wings, and you even nailed that. I can't wait to experience another one of your guests again!

I love everything about Thalia Hall, and the Tack Room is another hidden gem there. The hours are limited, but I highly recommend stopping in for a drink and a song at the piano when it is open.
