I be like, just take my money. OMG. The chorizo taco. I have argued w friends that this be the only place they go to. I jus need them to sell margarita's. You won't be happy cause they don't smile but hey F a smile.

So sad it will be closing at the end of march 2021. Really good Mexican food. Got to speak with the lady and she said business has been slow. Definitely support before they close permanently. I had a chicken burrito dinner and a chicken sope. Everything was good. The large burrito was huge. The green salsa is spicy and taste yummy. Def come here before they close.

I live across the street, so I grab food from here fairly often - always takeout. The quality is incredibly consistent. I usually get a steak burrito and it's very filling, for about $10. Today I had the Al Pastor Tacos and they were incredible! Will be my new go-to. My food is always ready in about 5 minutes. Also, the employees are always very friendly, especially the woman at the front.

Taco & Burrito Palace is truly one of the greatest treasures in Boystown. The prices are reasonable, and the tacos always hit the spot - regardless of the time of day. Whenever we would go out pre-pandemic we always stopped here before heading home. It is the perfect food to eat late at night, but also excellent sober - which really is the true test of the food quality! The kindest staff around that always make nice small talk while you wait for your food. Regardless of the wait time, it is always worth every penny!

Used to go here twice a week for the chimichangas. The only good Mexican food I think in Chicago

Been coming here for almost 5 years now. The best taco and burrito spot in the neighborhood. Steak tacos packed with flavor, and the burritos are amazing as well. Enchiladas are superb, and if you’re in the mood for a quesadilla meal they’ve mastered that as well. Highly recommend!!

Employees were extremely kind. The food portions were amazing and very price friendly

Ordered a double cheeseburger and received a single, bun was so stale it could not be dented, only cracked. Burrito was soggy and bland, with old mushy bland chicken. Do not be fooled by clearly outdated reviews.

I have been going to Taco & Burrito Palace for twenty years. When I have a steak burrito anywhere, theirs is the standard I use to compare. They make a delicious steak burrito. I have had various other enchiladas and breakfast items and their rice & beans are very good and consistent. The staff is very friendly and we have grown to know each other over the years. Having been a food safety and sanitation inspector in my past life and having been in their kitchen, I am confident in eating there safely at least monthly. I am very happy they are open for pickup and delivery after being closed for covid-19. Their prices have risen over the years, but whose haven't?I I love TBP!

Best Burritos I have ever tasted also, you get very generous portions of your choice of meat (pork, steak, ground beef, chicken, steak or chorizo). My husband and grandson are in love with their steak tacos and I adore their Pork Burritos. Their Horchata (rice water) is always fresh and delicious. And the staff; only good things can be said about them. They are all very friendly, but the lady who takes the orders and answers their phones is the real prize. I've never seen her without a smile and she makes it a point to remember her customers and what they order regularly. The men cooking are the same way My husband and I went there one day and we ordered our usual and as we were leaving the very nice lady said, "you forgot to order your Horchata. Of course I went back and bought my Horchata. The restaurant has steady following in the neighborhood and I am ecstatic they have re-opened after a short shutdown. Please stop by there for a taste I promise, you won't be disappointed. They also offer breakfast, a real breakfast and you can sit down and eat right there. Its also very clean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, all in one place with good food and genuinely nice staff. What more could a person ask for?

This one isn't as good as the location that closed. I wish I loved my food but it was ok. I ordered enchiladas and was expecting them to be corn shells and it wasn't. Also my beans were watery and the rice was bland. So sad because I wish I could give a better review and even more sad the other location closed
