We love grabbing ice cream at bi-rite close by every Sunday and chilling in dolores park. The vibe is great and on most days when the weather is good, a great place for friends to chill and enjoy the city view. We've tried almost all parks in the city, but this remains our favorite!

I think I just found my favorite fast food taco place. It's marketed as healthy and balanced Mexican food. I don't know how healthy or balance it is. I went during lunch hour on a weekday.I had the chicken burrito, with rice amd beans on the side. Everything was nicely seasoned and tasted great. The chicken had a nice charbroiled flavor to it.The location is across from the Lyric opera house. I am not sure how well this did pre-pandemic. Although there was a slow trickle although regular flow of people mostly picking up food and taking out, it did not seem like enough people to sustain it very long in this real estate market. If you are in the area support it and other favorite restaurants so they don't go away.

The best place for burritos. Consistency is hard to find in places with things as simple as sauces tasting different every day & having variations. Taco Fresco is consistent. The first burrito you get and go "Wow that was really good" will be the same each time you go. I use Ritual almost everyday that I am in the city to order Taco Fresco. They are quick and do a great job of paying attention to detail (Requests in my descriptions, etc). Taco Fresco is a go to for me easily! 10/10

You can't beat the food and prices at Taco Fresco, but the staff keeps me coming back! They are super efficient, fast, and courteous. It is def my go to in the loop! Also, their chicken and rice soup is not on the menu, but it is tasty and comes with a side of tortilla chips. Really good for rainy or cold days! Also, their salsa game is strong! Nice variety!

I love Taco Fresco's food because it usually tastes fresh. However on this visit both the beef and the pork fillings tasted extra salty. I hope that was just a one-time thing because it wasn't as good as usual.
