We love grabbing ice cream at bi-rite close by every Sunday and chilling in dolores park. The vibe is great and on most days when the weather is good, a great place for friends to chill and enjoy the city view. We've tried almost all parks in the city, but this remains our favorite!

I think I just found my favorite fast food taco place. It's marketed as healthy and balanced Mexican food. I don't know how healthy or balance it is. I went during lunch hour on a weekday.I had the chicken burrito, with rice amd beans on the side. Everything was nicely seasoned and tasted great. The chicken had a nice charbroiled flavor to it.The location is across from the Lyric opera house. I am not sure how well this did pre-pandemic. Although there was a slow trickle although regular flow of people mostly picking up food and taking out, it did not seem like enough people to sustain it very long in this real estate market. If you are in the area support it and other favorite restaurants so they don't go away.

This place is truly a hidden gem in the downtown area if you are looking for delicious, quick Mexican food!! My coworkers and I come here all the time and I am super grateful they have stayed open for take out orders all during Covid time as it's my favorite spot to grab a lunch! Everything is great here - the tacos, burritos, bowls, all of it! I will say my favorite thing to get isn't listed on the menu, but it's called the Chicken Chopped Salad. So delicious!! It's romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, crispy tortilla squares, cheese, tomato and the dressing is awesome and unique!! It's a lemony dressing but also a little spicy at the same time-SO good. Honestly such a delicious salad and huge portions too!! So if you are in the area, go support them and get some awesome food! The staff is so kind and crazy efficient too! They get you out of there quick and are very conscientious of Coivd precautions.

This place is the bomb-diggity, ultra flavorful goodness of all good things!! Can't believe it took me so long to even think about writing a review about them, as I have been eating there for many moons. Food is always made to order, fresh, and delicious, and everybody up there is just super nice!! LOVE this place!!!!

Not the best Mexican place to go in the city by any means (or even in the loop) but it's conveniently located to my own office so I end up going fairly often. I usually opt for either the nacho plate or a burrito depending on my mood. I would warn against the shrimp, which are not as "fresco" as I was expecting. That said, the nachos are a great bang for your buck and they have a few different salsas that are pretty good too!

Decent spot for a quick taco. The service is fast, food was prepared promptly and it tastes good. The salsas definitely had a kick to it especially the jalapeno salsa. The steak taco was ok but the ground beef had more flavor. The prices are fantastic especially for a downtown restaurant.

The best place for burritos. Consistency is hard to find in places with things as simple as sauces tasting different every day & having variations. Taco Fresco is consistent. The first burrito you get and go "Wow that was really good" will be the same each time you go. I use Ritual almost everyday that I am in the city to order Taco Fresco. They are quick and do a great job of paying attention to detail (Requests in my descriptions, etc). Taco Fresco is a go to for me easily! 10/10

You can't beat the food and prices at Taco Fresco, but the staff keeps me coming back! They are super efficient, fast, and courteous. It is def my go to in the loop! Also, their chicken and rice soup is not on the menu, but it is tasty and comes with a side of tortilla chips. Really good for rainy or cold days! Also, their salsa game is strong! Nice variety!
