Taco Lulu is our favorite spot in this area, we eat here weekly. The chicken and al pastor are our favorite meats. Their drinks are also really tasty. We’ve dined in and carried out and always felt like our food was hot and fresh.

ALMOST 7 DOLLARS FOR A SIDE OF CHEESE ?!?!

They messed up the order so I called and they didn’t let me finish talking before they cut me off and just put me on hold and then came back to tell me “they confirmed the person made them”. But unfortunately I am saying they are not in the bag and they cut me off again. Mistakes are made that’s normal but maybe learn how to talk to people? Terrible customer service.

Portion sizes are tiny for the price you pay. You can literally get a burrito 3 times the size for the same price a few blocks away. Not bad food but not great either to make up for the pricing. 6 steak tacos and 2 jarritos for 40 bucks that aren't spectacular is a let down.

Food is mediocre for Chicago. I ordered 3 Tacos Picadillo “Ground Beef” Al Pastor “Seasoned Pork” and Steak.

Picadillo 3/5 Tortilla was undercooked Picadillo tasted authentic.

Al Pastor 1/5 Tortilla was undercooked but the Al pastor was very greasy and was under not charred at all.

Steak Taco 1/5 Tortilla was undercooked; The Steak taco was under seasoned.

Overall this restaurant is cool from the inside. But the food is not deserving of the location.

Not the worst tasting food in the world but terrible portion size for a burrito, given it was tiny. Also the tortilla was small and I asked for no pineapples on the al pastor but they still gave pineapples.

The company I work for caters from this place. Before I found out that I was eating Taco Lulu food at work I'd walk by this place but didn't know what this building was.
Since I found out it was a restaurant I decided to go eat there and I loved it, it was DELISH, so I went again the next day!
The next day I placed my order and stood by the pick up area. As I was waiting I happen to look and see why it was so slow I see the cook prepare my food with the same pair of gloves that he is handling everything around him, refrigerators, sink knobs, kitchen equipment, scratching his face and even pulled his pants up. I was turned off and decided that would be my last day eating there.
I ate my tacos but was grossed out. They were hot so I'm hoping any and all germs those gloves had were burned off.

More of a taqueria than a restaurant. Order at the counter and take your own food to your table sort of place. Service was friendly. Food was pretty good overall but was quite salty and seemed a bit over priced. Margaritas were okay, but holy crap they were expensive.
Unfortunately would not return, would not recommend to a friend.

Great food and friendly staff. The horchata wasn't cooled so that kinda sucked. But hey, it was fun!
