I’ve never dined in person, but I’ve been ordering delivery from here once a month for the past couple of years and the food has managed to stay consistent and yummy! It’s safe to say this has been my favorite spot for tacos. The sauces are full of flavor and the tacos are always stuffed full.

I Never Ordered From This Place But Recd A Flan From DoorDash I Called To Cancel & DoorDash Wouldn’t I Tried To Order Lunch To No Avail Don’t Know How Or What I Paid With It’s NOT THE RESTAURANTS FAULT THERE WASNT A TIP Nor Delivery Service Charge So @ Least That Worked Out The Flan That Was Delivered Had Coconut On It & Was Minuscule. Would Definitely NOT Order Flan From Them I Would Like To Try Their Food. Will Try Again BUT NOT W DOORDASH.

I have come to TacoMax for years and it was always one of my fave restaurants for steak tacos and tortas. The prices have gone up and I totally understand that but I would expect the same quality of meat. I just had a torta and pulled out 11 chunks of fat! Never before have I ever ordered something from here and had that much fat in the food.Disappointed that the quality of the meat they serve has gone down.

I have been ordering from Taco max for yrs! Love everything from the tacos to the enchiladas and their tortas are awesome. However , In my recent two orders I have noticed the quality of meat is not the same. I get chucks of fat and the taste is a little more bland than normal. I am sadly disappointed and hoping that they correct this and maybe just switched up cooks and have missed a step while prepping and cutting the meat, hope they fix this because my family and friends always prefer them over any other Mexican joint to order great tacos and nachos and the list goes on. I will give them a break for a while because it has been a couple times in a row now. Great place for years though.

This place is awesome EACH AND EVERYTIME! The steak tacos are fantastic! I haven't been able to find anything even remotely close and I drive all over the city of chicago!
Best place to get molletes. Breakfast is delicious too.

Arracherra and al pastor tacos were delicious as were the homemade salsas! I love the slightly smokey grill flavor on the steak and the chunks of pineapple with the Al pastor. Take out was fresh and quick and will be back to eat in sometime soon!

The food was delicious. I had a three-taco dinner featuring arrachera, fried fish, and tinga chicken tacos. The arrachera steak was tender and moist, the fried fish had a comfortable level of heat and was accompanied by plenty of slaw, and the chicken was juicy, although I think it could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, and the rice and beans were a great complement!

The steak in the steak burrito is superb, it is marinated really well and packed with flavor. The portion size is really large (in my opinion) as well

Regardless of being outside of the delivery radius the staff allowed me to place an order. I ordered a steak taco dinner and an horchata! The food was delicious..initially I was skeptical of ordering because I had previously been exclusive to the Elston ave location. I wasn't sure how their quality control was changing with them moving to their alternative location. AMAZING BUSINESS!!
