The place is very beautiful, but they have workers with terrible customer service skills. The cashier gave me attitude. And my food came out 2 minutes after I ordered and it was cold. So I don’t think it was cook to order.

I love the sauce bar but all the sauces were subpar and mild (I prefer spicy! There’s no spicy!). The food itself was underwhelming in every way. It looks sophisticated but tastes ordinary. I cook better food at home. It’s not bad, just 2 out of 5. Not good not bad. It’s food to choose when you don’t have anything better to eat. They are fast though. Also it’s overpriced too, I felt like I was paying for the atmosphere more than the food and the atmosphere wasn’t worth paying for.

We had takeout. Amazing service and beautiful food. It was perfect. Not too spicy, but not bland; not too greasy, but still felt authentic. I would recommend trying it out. Churros came hot and fresh. Very good option here in Streeterville.

Was in the area and decided to give it a try. I lucked up the place was empty. Ordered one Shrimp taco and two Dorado tacos. I wanted to try the Samosa taco, but the cashier told me they don’t carry it. The tacos come with chips and salsa. Chips and salsa were good. The tacos presentation was on point, but it needs more flavor. I like the cook on the Dorado taco it was crispy. The price point is high, but it’s the River North neighborhood, so it’s to be expected.

I’ve ordered delivery twice from Taco Maya on uber eats. Both times it was incredibly delicious. The tacos are fresh and flavorful. The tortillas are delicious and I could honestly just eat them alone 😂. I normally also get the quesadilla and the rice. Both come with great portions and are equally delicious. Everything is packaged with care and is delivered fast

I order from Taco Maya all the time on Uber Eats, and the food is always excellent. They’re reliably open late, which has made this one of my go-to spots for late-night Mexican flavor. The shrimp quesadillas, chicken tinga tacos, and elote are all outstanding. It is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently well-made.
I’ve passed by their convenient downtown location a few times but haven’t had the chance to dine in yet. For now, I’ll keep ordering online, but Taco Maya has definitely earned a permanent spot in my rotation. Highly recommend!

the fusion style stuff is excellent, the chorizo is savory and they double wrap their tacos correctly
