Taco Pros - Mexican Cocina (79th & Cicero)

Food was trash. The meat tasted old and the frijoles de lata. The waitress had me standing for 15 minutes waiting to get a take out box while she’s having conversation with the cook in the back. Never again

I love the protein bowls and tacos 🥰 m. Also cashiers are always nice to me. I push everyone here to get some good tacos 🌮 ☺️.

The food was ok guacamole was ok , but for the price portions were small guacamole was tasty but they used a bunch of tomatoes and onions to strength it.

This was my first time eating at the 79th Street location and I have to say, the steak tacos were delicious. Karla was a sweetheart from the minute I entered the restaurant. I looked at the reviews before visiting and I’ve heard nothing but great things about Karla so I asked her, her name because I had a feeling it was her.

Tried this place late Saturday. Seemed short staffed. The front service worker was trying to hepo the kitchen and do front duties. Chef was being a prick to her to the point where people left instead of placing orders. We ordered a couple things, one being a 3 taco dinner. Only one taco was given. When we called to try and resolve Jeanette was trying to resolve it but the chef was insistent he didn't make a mistake and could hear his beligerence through the phone. Unfortunately since the chef was being that way, Jeanette couldn't do anything to resolve it and could only offer to try and wake the manager up. Empower her to take care of customers and honestly, get a better cook who can own up to mistakes. Pic for proof. Two stars just because Jeanette was doing her best and it wasn't her fault. Food was alright otherwise for the price and time of day.

Ordered 2 sope's double meat, elote, and a cheese quesadilla.
On the sope's im pretty sure they didn't give double meat. If it was I can't imagine what how little would be on it.
Elote didn't seem to have been drained. All the spice basically washed off the corn.
The quesadilla was just mediocre. Kid gave it a 3 outta 5.

The food is always good let me start with that, however I came in on a Saturday night and waited over 30 min for my meal. Janet was the only worker beside the cook and she was moving as fast as she can doing a great job. Very nice girl working hard just short staff today it seems
