Food was terrible! Very greasy and no actual flavor just oil. Prices are very high. The al pastor felt like I was chewing on a piece of rubber. The birria was oily and insanely salty. The worst part was the service. Our server was extremely drunk. Her words were slurry and had difficult time standing straight. This person provided us the worst service. She constantly ignored us and was very rude. She kept slapping my boyfriends back whenever she came to our table. At the end she pressured us to leave but told us to make sure we left her a good tip. I am not sure how this restaurant employs her. I'm pretty sure I saw her and the bartender were taking shots every 15 minutes behind the bar. We will not be returning to this establishment. Terrible place even Taco Bell has better food and service.

Had high expectations of this place but delivery was very disappointing. The birria “burrita” was so oily, close to no meat, and an I got an entire jalapeño inside. The flavor was also not there since all I tasted was canned chipotle peppers. Large guacamole was pretty overpriced but was the only thing I enjoyed from my order.

Best taco on the menu is the shrimp with the avocado sauce being the star but everything ordered was delicious from the rice and beans to the birria tacos and corn. Drinks were a little strong but hey can't complain when prices are what they are. Definitely will return when in the area.

First of all, wow. This place really hits the mark on what makes a taco joint a great experience. The people who work here are all very friendly & kind & the music is good. My food was made perfectly. I hade 3 steak tacos and an esquites. The tacos surprised me by just being 1 tortilla instead of 2 layered. I much prefer using 1 tortilla instead. I also loved the grilled onions on the taco as well! The equites was delicious, they used a chipotle aioli sauce that’s mixed in with the usual ingredients. For my drink I had the watermelon aqua Fresca and it was amazing. Not to much sugar either. Every place I go to I always get the same thing. That really lets me know if the place is legit. Tacombi is LEGIT. Best steak tacos in the west loop, and probably in downtown. Definitely stop by!!!

Stopped in because I was told the carne asada was a must-try and I had such a good experience! Our server, Brandy, was prompt, knowledgable, and so friendly! One of the chefs, Nick, came to our table to collaborate accommodating my gluten allergy and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our food. Great vibes, great food, great people!

Giving a 4/5 just because I love the atmosphere so much. Reminds me of many of the restaurants in Mexico City. However the tacos are just okay. Definitely better options in the city but in Fulton market they aren’t bad.

The tacos are delicious there's no doubt about that. Service tonight was not good at all. Server wasn't friendly and bearly spoke to us. She also forgot our beer and she picked up our dishes when we weren't done. Then proceeded to try to hand the check when we weren't ready to pay. Basic service equals basic tip. This was our date night and felt there was so much opportunity for her to make more effort and more connection with us. Very disappointing!!!!!

It has been disappointing to see how the food has changed over the last few months. I used to enjoy Tacombi frequently but my most recent visits have been a letdown - especially with the portion sizes. Pictured - the Al Pastor Burrita as advertised versus what was received
Decent food for a good price. Tight space though
