I went to El Jefe tonight and i felt bad i was like the last customer of the night and they still took care of me , with a smile. Thank you to The el jefe team, One of the best steak burritos i have had in along time keep doing a great job. Great food. This is my third time coming here the tacos are also amazing, I always eat three in a row just to get started. Amazing food , Amazing staff, nIce to have you in the neighborhood.

Tacos El Jefe catered our daughters Quinceañera and also provided delivery. My husband stopped in one day since we live in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood he bought carnitas, arroz and salsa. That was all we needed to taste because the food was delicious, the salsa is fire! We went back as a family to buy different plates of food to taste test to see what options we might be able to cater for our event! We spoke with the owners they provided us with recommendations on how much food to order since we’ve never hosted so many people before and they were spot on with their recommendations! All of our guest had feedback that the food was delicious and all everyone wanted to know where it was from, they helped us feed 280 guest! I highly recommend Tacos el jefe for catering services but also to dine in, the staff is great and the food is amazing!

The tacos don't have a lot of meat, the cecina are very small pieces for the price, the carnitas ones are good but what they put in it is also very little meat. Then I ordered one of the tongue and it was very salty.

1st and last time I visit this restaurant!!! Ordered A burrito of Tongue meat IT had no FLAVOR, NO taste talk about BLAND MEAT . The chevo meat was GAMMY with a lot of bones over priced at 10.99 AND greasy!!! Carne asada tacos were horrible meat ,it was tough!! Tortillas were hard!!! Like they were microwaved. WASTE OF MY hard earned money!!!
