The food was really good, but the restaurant’s online menu advertised a daily drink special & when I asked the waitress about it, she said they didnt offer that, I even pulled up the menu to show her but she still said they didn’t have that there and it was $13, she wasn’t helpful or willing to explain. It would really help if the online menu matched what’s actually available and if staff were more accommodating.

Tacos al pastor were nothing like what they advertise on social media. My meat was too crispy, kind of burnt, and hard to bite on. I asked for a taco dinner and literally could only eat 1 taco cause they were that mediocre. Didn’t event taste like pastor meat. I doubt it was from a tronco. Rice, beans, and horchata were good. Service was okay. Very pricey for quality of their “star” item.

Very skimpy on meat and even onions and cilantro not sure if new owners but the quality and serving size is different from last year not worth it and will not return.

Tables are right in front of the bathroom. We can hear people doing their business and then they leave the doors open after leaving the bathroom 🤢🤮
Tacos and portions are very small for the prices. Our food came out on plastic plates covered in additional plastic bags. The food was average. Service was slow and not very friendly.

Not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating but they deserve it. The food is always excellent and well priced. Always recommend it to friends.

I don’t know why this place is almost empty every time I come here but the tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had.

Dined in at around 6pm on a Friday and there was nobody eating at the establishment until after we arrived. Lots of street parking, place is clean, and staff was welcoming. They also have a patio which we didn’t choose to eat in because it was too hot out.
Our order was not that big and it did take a good while to come out but they give you chips and a little salsa flight to eat while you wait. I enjoyed all three salsas.
Aguas frescas—both the horchata and the jamaica one— were delicious and refreshing.
Food had good presentation although I wish they gave cucumber slices instead of radishes to make it the true Tijuana taco experience.
Guac on the tacos was skimpy and a little salty but overall enjoyed and will be back!
We paid around $50 for two people.

I had the Carnitas dinner tonight, it was delicious and so much food, I'm stuffed!
Delicious 😋 😋 😋
Update: I went again for the same meal and what a difference, my portions of beans and rice were much smaller, even the cups of sauces had only a teaspoon of sauce in it. disappointing 😞

It’s been a while since a meal truly wowed me, but this spot is definitely an east side gem. The atmosphere is trendy yet still feels like an authentic taqueria in Mexico. The servers were incredibly hospitable, even on a hot, busy Saturday night close to closing time.

I almost skipped picking up my order, thinking the quality might suffer so late in the evening but I’m so glad I didn’t. Everything was fresh and made to order, with tortillas pressed right in front of me. The al pastor had a unique and delicious flavor profile that really stood out.

I could not recommend this place enough-solid 5/5!
