I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. It’s been a neighborhood landmark on 63rd street for many years. A true hidden gem in Chicago. I recommend the chilaquiles verdes with rice and beans and the quesadillas. Great food, good service.
This is a cash only establishment that has been here for 32 years. Do yourself a favor and order their quesadillas. They are unique to this place. It is nothing like a traditional quesadilla. The fresh masa is grilled fried and stuffed with your choice of meat. You feel like you just had a fresh meal from your Tia or abuelas house. Everything is made fresh to order.
Best lil hole in the wall you’ll find in Chicago. They have some bomb fried quesadillas. Beware there are about 20 seats and you will leave with the smell of fried oil. You will also leave with a fully satisfied belly 😋
