Taj Mahal

I got take-out from Taj Mahal and was fairly impressed for the convenience and timing! We ordered samosas and garlic naan - the samosas were great and big but for only two for $3.50 seemed a little pricey. The naan was also full of flavor, but needed to be retoasted even though I live less than 10 min away. We also got the Daal Tadka (yellow lentils, $8) and the Aloo Gobi (cauliflower, $8). Worst food I have ever had in USA. Their Navaratan Korma was - fried packet of frozen vegetables. And gravy was so thin that even I would be ashamed to call it gravy of Navaratan Korma ( gravy was more like a - fried water) Red and green chutney were also just like flavored water. How have I been working in the Illinois Medical District for this long without having ever visited Taj Mahal? How? The important thing is vini, vidi, vici: I came, I saw, I conqured the gobi manchurian. I visited on a random Thursday during lunchtime, joining about five coworkers who'd already ordered before I'd arrived. It wasn't particularly busy at that time.
