As a bao bun addict, I was ecstatic to discover this gem of a place. Food: 10, price: 10, the quirky hand written note: 10. I love it

I got the fried pork dumplings: those were classically delicious, the fried shrimp bao: frankly it was really salty but everything else was decent, and finally the fried chicken bao: if you were in the mood for Bao then this would most likely satisfy your craving.

Ordered online. Food was very quick to arrive and looked fantastic. Very tasty (if a bit messy) and very reasonable pricing. Had a special request in my order and they accommodated me without any fuss. Would order again.

Ordered from Instacart/Uber Eats, which I usually don't do, but I had a discount and really wanted Baos. This was the first (sponsored) result.
I've actually been to this location in person to pick up an order from one of the other restaurants, but I didn't know Take A Bao was associated with this ghost kitchen. I ordered the Bao meal (two spicy chicken baos) with s'more buns and pork dumplings, plus another chicken Bao with fried rice combo.
The food was lukewarm when I got it. That's fine, it's cold outside. I heated it up in the microwave for 20 seconds and even though it was warm, the chicken was so tough, I couldn't just bite it while picking the Bao up as it wouldn't separate at all. I had to use a fork to eat the meat separately, and chewing took forever. It was crazy. I've never had to do that before.
The dumplings and s'mores buns were okay. The fried rice has no flavor and reminds me of the frozen, instant fried rice I tried once from the supermarket.
Would not order again. It will clearly be a struggle to chew the rest of the two deep fried, hard chicken baos I have left. I'm usually pretty lenient with food but I'm shocked at how tough this chicken was.

Cold fried rice.. like they didn’t cook it all the way and you can clearly see the white rice it was also all bunched together. Didn’t receive my bao nuts when i tried to contact no answer so no way to receive a refund. Don’t recommend :/
Delicious food (spicy shrimp bao, veggie dumplings, milk tea with brown sugar boba) and a very cute note. Happy new year!
Upon arriving just know this is what I believe is characterized as a ghost kitchen. Although this is my first time going to one, I know they are becoming more popular for restaurant owners to use. Cool, not mad at it one bit. What I didn’t particularly care for is that there are multiple restaurants operating out of this building and there’s one person that may or may not be at the front handling the takeout orders for all the restaurants inside. Otherwise, you’re picking your food up from a locker. I assume these restaurants get a lot of app orders. Guess for me it takes the hospitality out of the business and you have no idea whose the face behind who's making your food and the business itself. That was different for me and as a first time customer I didn’t particularly care for it.
I bought the spicy chicken bao and the garlic fried rice. The bao was good. I’ve had better but not bad. The fried rice though… The portion size for the garlic fried rice is plain ole degrading. They need to rename it “Inflation Fried Rice” because that’s how small the portion size was. I've included a pic even though I don't think it fully does it justice. You literally get more rice in a lunch meal from your standard Chinese takeout and Panda Express; mind you there’s also an entree that comes with those dishes at those restaurants. And it wasn’t good! Nothing but frozen peas and carrots lathered up soy sauce and a little butter. No lie, a kid could’ve made this. I went back in to ask for some soy sauce and it took 5 minutes for the reasons mentioned above. Overall, I was very disappointed and won’t be returning. I am not a person that writes reviews so if I’m doing so, that means it really wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Based on the reviews I had really high hopes for this place. I ordered through Uber Eats & got the crispy garlic aioli chicken bao, garlic aioli waffle fries and nutella heaven bao-nut. The crispy chicken was dry, the waffle fries were hard but the flavor of the sauce was good and the nutella bao-nuts were so hard it was like chewing on a hockey puck..disappointing

I ordered the crispy spicy aioli chicken bao, and it was bigger than I expected! It was super saucy, and they even included an extra side of sauce. The flavor was a solid 10/10, and the delivery was impressively fast. To top it off, the kitchen sent a cute little note—such a nice touch!

I was so excited to visit but left disappointed! I ordered two bao buns the shrimp and chicken and crab ragoon. We ordered about an hour after opening so I was expecting fresh food! Everything was pretty much warm with not much flavor. The chicken was dry and crab ragoon weren’t crunchy! The aioli however was the best takeaway from my order.
I recently ordered from Take a Bao through Uber Eats, and I was thoroughly impressed. I tried their chicken teriyaki bao, garlic aioli bao, chicken dumplings, and cinnamon buns, and I also added garlic butter fried rice. I requested extra chicken and a spicy kick, and they nailed it perfectly!
What really stood out was their attention to detail—they not only delivered delicious food but also included a thoughtful letter to cheer me up. The food quality, packaging, and overall service were exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience!

It was my first time ordering from them, and honestly it made my day, i wanted some comfort food after having a bad day dealing with the grief of losing my mother last month. I opened my delivery to a very sweet handwritten note that made me smile. This staff is amazing and has beautiful service and i just want to thank them so very much, their positivity goes along way. Thank you for amazing food and spreading kindness to all your customers. 10/10 will be forever returning!

Ordered off uber eats and half of the order was missing, not sure whose fault it was but disappointing. The half that was received incorrect and cinnamon bao’s was bland.
