Takibi is a real gem! The sushi was amazing and delicious, made with fresh high quality ingredients, care and intentionality. It’s also a really cozy, cute and intimate space. And to top it all off, the prices were super reasonable given the quality of food! 10/10 highly recommend!!
Genuinely one of the worst sushi I've ever had. Nigiris and rolls were both wet. You couldn't pick them up without them falling apart. The sauce that was drizzled on top was cloyingly sweet. Expensive AND poor quality. Unfortunate.
service was fine and the atmosphere was okay. that's what's saving it from a 1 star review.

ate here twice during a week-long visit to Chicago and had two lovely meals. nigiri exceeded expectations; unagi tempura was extremely indulgent but well-balanced with cool vinegared rice.

This was some of the absolute best sushi I've ever had, and I've lived in Florida before. The servings are generous and very fresh. Will definitely come back

Little crowded and there was a bit of a wait, but the food was well worth it. The Lion King and Sheridan rolls were amazing. So fresh

This small, intimate spot is a true find. The sushi is so fresh and delicious. The oyster fries were tasty, though they could have used a bit less dough. The complimentary cinnamon tea adds a warm, cozy touch, and the dried persimmon with walnuts is a delightful, sweet finish. The ramen looked fantastic, so I’ll definitely try it on my next visit. The atmosphere is cute and inviting, and it’s BYOB.

Food was very delicious, the Lion King maki was so good, the beef ramen was good too but the Maki was the star of the show. For dessert I tried the matcha mochi and for my surprise it was actually really good. I also tried the green tea cheesecake but I didn't like that one. I would definitely come back to try the sushi again, very satisfied with my visit.

Get the beef bulgogi roll. I could eat 100 of them. 101 is too many though.
