My pad Thai was very soggy and resembled mush. You could tell just by looking at it that the noodles were boiled too long. Also my coke was almost clear and tasted like carbonated water.

I was suprised with how empty the restaurant was considering how absolutely amazing my meal was. Had karee curry and it was absolutely delicious and came with sweet potato which I really appreciated and hadn’t had in a curry before. Service was extremely friendly, restaurant was very clean, I would absolutely return again
Prices were very fair for the portion size.

Fresh, tasty, fast, and great service. Not as authentic as other places but it does the trick. They also didn't ask for a tip, not sure if they do that for takeout only.

Hidden gem in west loop? 12 years strong so maybe not-so-hidden to the neighbors. Solid food here. Ordered take-out twice in the past couple weeks. Pineapple Fried Rice was out-STANDING. Cat behind the bar, seemed like the manager on duty, was approachable and personable. Be back soon!

One of our favorite local Thai places. The Talay crunch roll is a house favorite. Have tried many of their Thai dishes and loved them all.
Only thing I will say is that it seems the entrees are much bigger eating in the restaurant than carry out.

This place rocks. Food is always delicious whether it’s eaten there or delivered. The baby egg rolls are delicious, and the sushi is super fresh. Black pearl, spicy tuna, and sweet potato rolls are usually our go-tos. Staff is very friendly, and it’s got a really relaxed vibe in the restaurant.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Telay in the West Loop for seven years, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently the best Thai restaurant in the West Loop—fresh, flavorful, and always made with care. Service is outstanding, whether dining in or ordering delivery, and the staff are warm, friendly, and attentive. My favorite dish is the Pad See Ew, which is hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced flavors and always cooked to perfection. The restaurant also has a welcoming atmosphere that makes dining in just as enjoyable as ordering out. After seven years, Telay remains my go-to Thai restaurant and my top choice in the neighborhood

Talay Chicago is legit one of my fave spots in the West Loop. We snagged the crab rangoons and spicy fish cakes to start, crispy and flavorful. Then dove into the red curry and Pad Thai, plus a round of tuna nigiri. Everything tasted super fresh and hit the spot. Service was friendly, space cozy, and perfect for a low‑key Thai + sushi mashup. Definitely coming back.
