We used to come here often, but lately our experience hasn’t been the same. When ordering, we’ve felt a bit rushed, and on two occasions we got home and realized our order was incorrect—our green tamales were replaced with rajas or another kind. Tamales are great either way, but we’d really appreciate receiving what we actually ordered. Hoping this can improve, as we used to really enjoy coming here.

The tamales were not cooked right at all. Masa was mushy and meat tasted old. Got real bad food poisoning from this place and do not recommend them at all!!!

Horrible service. The ladies working there are rude, dismissive, and show zero interest in customers. There is little to no attention given, and basic courtesy is completely missing. Ever since Luz left, this place has gone downhill—both in service and in taste. If the rude woman running the place is the manager, then it’s no surprise the service is getting worse. The attitude alone makes this place not worth returning to.

Went on Thanksgiving day to buy half dozen tamales of Mole they were terrible a few year's ago there tamales we're delicious also they don't make the canary anymore I guess they change the cook it's not worth the money there very expensive and they don't taste good 11/27/25 will never go again

Ordered a dozen tamales, when I got home they weren’t cooked all the way through, tamales were watery, I called, they said to bring back for a refund or replace the tamales. Very different once I got there, they said no refund and continued to open each tamale to say they were fine!! They were clearly were undercooked! Very bad customer service!! Never again will they get our business!!

Update; I’m very sad to see my favorite tamale spot lose everything I once loved. Whatever happened, I don’t know. I just know it’s not the same as it once was. Wish them well.

I love the tamales here, my son and I came here almost every Saturday but we took a break and when we came back again I was super sad to hear that LUZ no longer works there…she was always sooo good to us and made us feel like valued customers. Money can’t buy that kind of service. I hope wherever she is she’s doing well we miss to
Wow after trying serveral soots in the westlawn area i have hit the jackpot Los tamales de pollo verde so juicy chicken with the right tomatillo erde sauce and moist pollo yummy and what can i say about the mole tamal wtf none stop eating and sipping on my champurrado……

Terrible service I received as delivery from grubhub hot Saturday at 10:31 AM, pregnant, they did not allow her to use the bathroom because it says no public bathroom? I am going to decline all orders from here, terrible workers.
