We had a work dinner event for about 10 or 12 people. This space was perfect for the size of our party. The atmosphere is dark and intimate. The food was delightful. Service good. It is a BYO restaurant. There is a small local pantry store just two doors down which I am sure piggy backs off the restaurant for drinks. The array of alcoholic drinks was very fair. Parking was available on the street parking meter needed.

Tango Sur it's an amazing and romantic place to have dinner. The service was excellent and the atmospherewas absolutely beautiful. My server Agustin did an amazing job all the time. I highly recommend this place for any occasion you want to celebrate or if you just want to try delicious food. Hope to come back soon with some family and friends to share this grateful experience with the people that I love.

Went for a family event and was very disappointed. The food was very subpar especially for the cost. Everything was pretty much undercooked and underseasoned. The inside of the restaurant was playing very loud music and we could not hear our waiter over the music or other guest shouting to speak with eachother. Will not be returning.

This was my second time at Tango Sur, and it didn’t disappoint. I went on a Sunday around 5pm and got a table out on the patio. We started with the classic provoleta—bubbling hot cheese with red peppers—and it was as good as it sounds. I also had beef sweetbreads, chinchulines (tripe), and Argentinian chorizo on the side. For the main, the entraña (skirt steak) was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Since it’s BYOB, we grabbed a bottle of Argentinian wine from the shop next door, which made the meal even better. To finish, we tried the alfajor with dulce de leche—sweet, rich, and the perfect ending. If I had one small wish, it’d be for nicer wine glasses, but that’s a minor thing compared to how great the food is for the price. I’ll definitely be coming back to keep working my way through their menu.

I’ve been to Tango Sur a few times. I like that it’s BYOB, which is definitely a plus, though the steaks are on the pricier side. I do like their empanadas and the sauce that comes with them. Usually, the food is solid, but my last visit was a bit disappointing.
We were served salads and even our steaks without any silverware, and our waiter was nowhere to be found. We eventually had to get our own silverware, which isn’t what you’d expect from a place in this price range. Also, the steak I ordered last time wasn’t as flavorful as on previous visits — it tasted pretty bland compared to before.
I still appreciate the BYOB option and the atmosphere, and have to mention that one of the times when I was there, I wasn't feeling very well and asked for hot tea, and my server brought me a hot cup of tea twice free of charge. And that tea really made me feel better, I truly appreciated that!

Went on Saturday night, flavors were fantastic on the potatoes and the sauce. Got the Costeleta and it was 80% gristle and overcooked almost no pink on a medium rare. Got maybe 6 clean bites. Really disappointing for a $50 steak on an otherwise delicious meal
