Great pho, probably best in this area! Staff were nice and quick to serve. The matcha banana drink was also good!

Our server (Lee i think) was so kind and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. We had the lettuce wraps with yellow curry soup and taro, and waterfall chicken. The cocktails were so unique too. dare i say this is my new favorite restaurant in Chicago.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tank Vietnamese Kitchen and Bar. I waited for about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me or asked what I was there for. On top of that, my takeout order — which had already been placed 30 minutes before I arrived — still took another 20 minutes to be found.
It wasn’t just me. Another customer told the staff she had already waited 30 minutes and ended up leaving because they couldn’t give her a clear answer on how much longer it would take. Someone else waiting with me was also standing around for nearly 30 minutes with no updates.
The food might be good, but the customer service really needs improvement. Better communication, organization, and urgency would make a huge difference. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you value your time.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic Vietnamese restaurant, and I was truly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and warm. What really stood out to me was their amazing ginseng infusion—there were beautiful glass jars filled with ginseng extract, which not only looked stunning but also provided a wonderful boost. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tank Kitchen & Bar for our wedding, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make my wife’s dream wedding come true — and all on short notice.
The team not only catered the event but also helped with décor and set-up, which completely transformed the space into something elegant and memorable. Their attention to detail was outstanding. The cocktail hour was a huge hit, especially the tuna tartare, which guests are still raving about!
The dessert table was another highlight — beautifully presented, filled with a variety of treats, and it was gone almost instantly because everyone loved it so much.
On top of the amazing food and presentation, the Tank Noodle & Bar team was professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. They answered all of our questions quickly, worked seamlessly with the venue staff, and made sure everything ran smoothly.
If you’re looking for a caterer that not only delivers delicious food but also helps bring your vision to life, Tank Noodle & Bar is the way to go. They truly exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful to them for making our special day unforgettable.
Thank you, Tank Kitchen & Bar, for everything!

Our waiter ignored us. Took over 40 minutes to get our order. Other tables we served before us even though we arrived before the other parties. Our waiter never checked on us, and only came to place our food on the table and to give us the check. The food is subpar. I highly recommend that you pass on this restaurant unless you like to be ignored.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in Chicago, and I’m usually forgiving. The server seemed to pay attention to everyone but us, never got water refilled, ordered an app within 10 minutes but didn’t order an entree for another 40. There were four other tables at the time. We should have left then but gave the benefit of the doubt and was hungry.
No question of how everything was or if we wanted a box or sorry for the wait. The peach tea was the best thing I had, the fried egg rolls were crispy but little flavor in it or the sauce. The chicken lettuce wraps tasted like they had poured dirty dishwater on top, made me sick for 12 hours. The special fried rice was just…fine. Awful experience, won’t be back, and do a quick google search to see why this business shouldn’t be supported any longer.

First time here, and will definitely return. The pho was flavorful and delicious, especially with the chili oil. I was pleasantly surprised with how large of a portion the regular size was. My server was kind and attentive, and the staff seemed very friendly.
Had the fried rice and it tasted like nothing. Also, didn’t realize this was an offshoot of Tank Noodle in Uptown, the one where the owner literally attended Jan 6!!! Cannot support in this economy!!!!

This place is amazing! Very spacious, inviting, clean and ambient establishment.
Everything we ordered was so good and on point. Definitely an upscale restaurant. Drinks were not watered down. My favorite of all times was the Lychee Kiss. It was always perfect!
My regular server, the guy who always wears black and a hat, is soooo friendly and accommodating. He always makes our dining experience great.

Just wanted to leave a review on fried rice.
Everyone knows their pho is great.
Dont sleep on this yang chau special fried rice, it is awesome. When fried rice takes long time to come out, you know its good. A GOOD fried rice actually takes a lot of skill, it requires different layer of flavor added to the rice each time. You need specific rice, thats been cooked and dehydrate so that it each grain can be coated and absorb with flavor. Hence people say, you have to use day old rice, because when its day old and been sitting in refrigerator, its dehydrated.
Kudos to chef in charge of fried rice.
