We went with another couple for dinner and while the food and drinks were still amazing the service was abysmal. Wish I could give service zero stars. Three of us had been several times and always loved everything. This time our server kept forgetting to put our food order in (the other tables around us were all receiving their food and all of them arrived after us and left before we did). It took 3.5 hours to finally receive all of our food. We reminded the server several times we were still waiting but we ended up continuing to wait. When the manager asked us how everything was we were honest with him and only then did the final three items arrive. Our server took offense to us telling his manager how slow our food was to arrive and confronted us about our conversation, which was extremely uncomfortable.

Went for happy hour, disappointed all the cocktails were poured on draft. Bartender very rudely yelled about the tip despite never actually pouring a drink and having the bar back do everything.

I loved that we had a runner bringing food to our table. He was great. The food showed up hot, and it was delicious. I recommend the rice and seafood dish. My guests vacuumed up the ceviche we should have ordered twice as much!

Ivan was amazing he was very attentive and very kind he really explained the menu as it was our first time trying this place we were so excited and made it less overwhelming. Food was amazing plating was beautiful drinks were creative and yummy. I would definitely come back!

We love brunch at Tanta. The leche de tigre served during brunch is my favorite—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also enjoy trying different dishes each time, and everything we've had so far has been consistently delicious. The service from both the waitstaff and the managers is excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. Great atmosphere overall, and we highly recommend paying them a visit.

A wonderful welcome, great service, signature menu and presentation – in short, everything was going great at our New Year's Eve dinner until the valet standing outside ruined it. We lit our cigarettes under an umbrella, away from him, and he rudely told us to leave. When I told him we were customers and he could have politely said so, he didn't care and said, "Go ahead and comment as you wish." Because of this employee who ruined the whole evening, my rating for tonight will be low. I hope management finds a more decent and polite person.

Fantastic food. Fantastic flavors. The service was beyond awful. They made us late for the theater. We gave them plenty of time. We told them what time we had to leave. We were told that would be absolutely no problem. The restaurant was empty when we showed up, and they still didn’t have our table ready and had to wait 10 minutes. It took another 15 minutes for the waiter to even show an interest in taking an order. We were served in courses. Then there was a long pause between courses, and the last two came out at the same time. One was Stone cold. It had sat in the kitchen being ignored by the waiter. The drinks took 10 minutes to arrive, again with a restaurant that was empty other than for our table.
Basically, I was meeting someone here. I picked away from the bar. My date came before me, and they sat her closest to the Kitchen and the bathroom. I am looking forward to the night ending. It didn't even have a restaurant feel. More of a TGI Fridays feel. Restaurant is fine, get there before your guests and you'll be fine. Don't be directed. My date didn't know better. My fault was to not get there way before my date, so they told her what works best for Tanta.. Not Thrilled. Service. And food Good. Ambiance should have been different.

I just hope the service had been as good as the food. They seated us at a small table when all the couches were available. I also don't need people to teach me for which dish I should use chopsticks

Food is excellent. Disappointing occurrence though, I made a reservation a full week before, and we were led to a tall table right next to the commotion of the bar, which I outright rejected. We were then politely and correctly offered a proper table. Also, music was WAY TOO LOUD! It was very a busy night (on a Wednesday), which is why I assume the service was spotty.
