TAO Chicago Reviews
I asked several staff if there was anymore than 1 women’s bathroom. I guess for this big club they didn’t plan for more than 1 rest room? Coat check is a nightmare just to get to. Can’t move anywhere in this club and we have been to the biggest clubs in Vegas. This is a cool place, but worst set up ever! Never had this problem at Prysm here in Chicago. Table prices are more reasonable at Prysm too. First time here and probably our last. Also while in line for the bathroom,...read full review
this place is the worst place i've ever been to in my life. My group of friends made a reservation two weeks ago to be seated at 8:45 PM. After waiting almost two hours, we were not seated, we weren't updated on how long we'd have to wait, and they made us PAY to set a reservation. This place is the absolute worst... If they had an option for 0 stars, that would even be too good of a rating for this place. My friends and I are beyond upset and were not compensated for the wait....read full review

TAO Chicago offers an incredible ambience and top-notch service, making it one of the top restaurants in Chicago. The historical setting enhances the dining experience. While the prices may be higher, the food quality and presentation are commendable. Dishes like Cod are well-balanced, and the unique cocktails are a highlight. The atmosphere is incredible, featuring an old temple and statue that are one of a kind. The space is busy, sexy, and dim, creating a low-key ambiance. The food has the right hint of spice, with the pepper steak being flavorful and reminiscent of a warm hug. The sushi is really good, although some guests noted that the rolls were standard and not fancy. Many have enjoyed the banana pudding dessert and the lobster fried rice. TAO Chicago is recommended for an occasional visit for its great flavors, service, and ambiance. The brunch buffet has received praise for its variety and value, with standout dishes like the duck omelette and shrimp shumai. Guests appreciate the delicious food, attentive service, and the overall experience, making it a perfect place for a special night out or a great dinner.
