Stopped by Taquería El Charro I for dinner and had the Al Pastor Tacos with rice and beans—tender, flavorful, and satisfying. The salsa verde added a nice kick. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly. Only downside was the wait time was a bit longer than expected, but the food made up for it. Definitely a spot worth checking out for authentic Mexican cuisine.

i've no clue how the person below me paid $13 for a large horchata .. getting just an horchata delivered?? that's on you man. otherwise the menu clearly states its $5 lol. that being said i got a small when i went with some pals and it was decent. not the best horchata i've ever had but i digress..
our server was lovely & the pastor gordita was yummy. also got a strawberries and cream paleta on the way out 👌 will be back as it's right across the street from me haha

Very expensive food I paid $13 just for a large Horchata, which wasn't all that big, like 20oz. The most expensive Horchata I have ever paid for, the only reason I gave 2 stars was because it was really cold which was nice.

I order from this place(pick up) about 4 times a week, so that should tell you something. Go on doordash and get a daily deal! They also make individual tacos so if you want...steak , chicken and beef for you taco dinner, you got it!
El Charro hits every time. I got 3 al pastor tacos, a carne asada sope, and a horchata—spent around $16 total. Tacos were juicy with that perfect crispy edge, and the sope was stacked. Salsa’s got a nice kick too. Staff is friendly, food came out quick, and the place stays clean. Solid neighborhood taquería that never disappoints. If you’re up north, this is a go-to.

Fully convinced that this location is the best Mexican food on Clark Street!!! Service is always amazing, food is always piping hot & the location is very clean! I sometimes eat here 2 to 3 times a week just cuz it’s that damn good!!!!!
Great authentic food. Homeade salsa is incredible; when you order the chips and salsa they give you generous portions of both. Tacos are legit. Highly recommend.
