Great carne asada!!! wish they had yellow tortillas though
My go to taco joint. Excellent carne asada tacos...highly recommend this establishment. Not fancy , just consistently good food. It is cash only, so make sure you bring some.
Always a fantastic meal for a good price. Parking is ample. Best chimichuri ive ever had.

¡Orale! This place is the real deal! You must bring cash though!!
It was recommended to me and to try their carne asada burrito. Good lord, it’s a meal and there’s plenty of meat to feel full by eating 1/2. So with that being said that should ease the cost of the burrito by being able to get 2 meals out of it. I think it was $12.50 or 15.50 or something close to that.
Also I think it’s best served by eating there because you get some chips and 2 salsas at the table.
Parking is kinda tough and since they don’t deliver, you must go there!! Remember - cash only!!

Still pretty good , It was better about 4 years ago, I think it's under new management, Sami used to be nice, juicy and tender ( skirt steak) , now it's a little hard and not as juicy. Still one of my favorites . I had three steak tacos and one Mexican large Coca-Cola . A bowl of guacamole was at a good price and fairy tasty .
Definitely the BEST Burrito in Chicago!!!!
Real skirt steak Grilled to, grilled perfect…
The Burrito was filled with steak from top to bottom…..Amazing
carne tacos were too chewy. and white corn tortillas? should've known the food wouldn't hit considering the area.

If you don't know about tacos, this might be your spot. Has been years that since the last time I was there. Same type of tortillas that break, very annoying, I don't understand why they don't change them. What changed was the carne asada ,used to be very good, now is chewy and not much of flavor. The lengua was terrible, tasted old ,like was warmed up few times and maybe on a griddle not bokued and steamed. Pastor tasted just like very concentrated adobo salsa with bunch of dry chiles, not pastor really. The barbacoa also tasted old. For the area ,(Lincoln square) might be good for the people that live there but not for a Mexican or Hispanic people.Don't expect much of any service, cash only, tacos are smaller than a regular size of tortilla. Not trying again. I can't find the option for pics

Food is good but this place is insanely cheap.
Practically have to beg for knapkins, no plates, plastic crappy forks. It’s not like they don’t charge insane prices for the food. Everything is extra even limes for tacos. Nuts! Take it to go.

This is easily one of my favorite greasy spoon Mexican places in the city. The food is phenomenal and they have a lot of great meat options on the menu. Everything is quite greasy, but super delicious. They seem to have adjusted their prices to the neighborhood. $27 for a burrito, rice, and a drink is outrageous but I can’t deny that the food is awesome.
