Ordered a steak burrito and HOLY MOLY, DELICIOUS!! Generous portion, tender meat, delicious tortilla. I love a good burrito and a lot of places will give you that weird tortilla to ingredients ratio where you take bite and notice 1/3 of it is folded tortilla, not this place.I'm so full but its so good I don't wanna stop eatin'. 5 stars.

This place was becoming one of my favorite spots in the area until Friday. The food and staff have always been great. I am a pretty good tipper not to mention. This past Friday my and my bf were running some errands in the area and decided to come by. When we first came in the waitress whose name was Leslie greeted us and everything was good until I tried the chips and salsa they normally bring along with. I ask the waitress very kind to see if they have a different salsa and the one they have wasn't spicy enough for me. When I asked her I am not sure if she didn't hear me since the music was kind of loud so she asked me to reap what I had said she didn't hear me. When I asked one more time her answer was they didn't have any other salsa that's all they had and that they only had "Valentina" my thought was for the tacos ?!! I said that is fine if you can please bring me a jalapeño instead that would be fine. She apologized which I am not sure why she did since it wasn't her fault. She (Leslie) ended up taking all 3 salsas. Please note that I was the only one who wasn't happy about the salsa taste not my bf. He was ok as he doesn't eat spicy foods. She (Leslie) brought the food and we started eating the tacos are the best I can't lie about it best tacos. Throughout the entire time we were there she didn't ask us if we needed anything else or if everything was fine like they usually ask. It was kind of uncomfortable since she kept going to the other tables and all smiley and not to us. We finished our food and she never came to us. My bf went to her to pay the bill and she never said anything like a "thank you" or any type of apology. I am very disappointed at the place because my intention was never to offend her or anyone it was just to let them know that the salsas didn't have no flavor at all like they did before.

Came here past 1 am for some late night food after a movie and it was really good food! Their al pastor especially was delicious. Ordered a side of rice and beans and it came on a heart shaped plate which was cute. Nobody does late night in Chicago anymore, so if you’re looking for something past midnight, try this place out!

We LOVE this spot. Every taco meat has a different texture that really highlights the flavors, servings are generous, rice and beans are delicious, and the menu recommendations are always spot on. This is a secret little place, not a tourist spot. The prices and food are both great. I love this little treasure of a restaurant. Expect friendly service. It makes you feel like you are in a Mexican Village. A real gem.
