Taqueria El Kacheton Chicago

We were looking for a place which would come to your home with their outdoor grill and cook for our guests.
Although there are many, all require a minimum of 50 guest and the cost is huge. My husband would always pick up tacos from Taqueria El Kacheton, he suggested we ask them if they cater for a small gathering. Luckily they said yes. The cook arrived early to started cooking, everyone LOVED the food. GREAT choice. The cook was professional and attended to what are guests wanted.

Absolutely phenomenal! A little gem of a spot with about 4 tables inside. Takeout available otherwise if you snag a table they provide table service. We tried the guac, tacos, rice & beans, and agua de horchata. Loved it all! Fresh, flavorful and great portions.

As soon as I got out of work, I was craving tacos and I googled searched “taquerias near me.” I saw their good reviews and went there with my parents; the tacos did not disappoint. Tacos were delicious with tortilla hechas a mano, and their aguas frescas were top notched as well ( tried their horchata, Jamaica, and tamarindo)

The tlacoyo and huitaloche quesadilla were both excellent. Other folks I was with really enjoyed the various tacos they got as well. The fresh masa really makes a difference.

Well, you need more tables in the bathroom because I haven't gone in. The tension is very good. What is certain is that sometimes the air is very strong, and it is very annoying. There should be a way so that the air doesn't hit the people. customers under the tables is too cold.

El Kacheton Taqueria, I had “El Vecino” Burrito, it’s the best burrito I have ever tasted in the Chicago area, because it has no lettuce, it was the perfect choice since I don’t like lettuce in my burritoes. Their homemade salsas are delicious, they taste like, homemade. El Kacheton, the perfect spot for your casual Mexican food cravings.
