El Kacheton Taqueria, I had “El Vecino” Burrito, it’s the best burrito I have ever tasted in the Chicago area, because it has no lettuce, it was the perfect choice since I don’t like lettuce in my burritoes. Their homemade salsas are delicious, they taste like, homemade. El Kacheton, the perfect spot for your casual Mexican food cravings.

Delicious! I got the tacos de Cabeza and Huarrache de Asada. Both were delicious. They were so good that I forgot to take a picture of them. The salsas were great! Highly recommend for a quick bite. Employees were very nice and humble. Will come again.

Best Tacos! Hands down my favorite spot. The waitress brings out fresh chips and the spiciest salsa. I always order Tacos de Alambre and Tacos Campechanos, so good! It’s cash only but worth it.Friendly family owned restaurant.

Best tacos in the country for me. Last ate here in 2013 when I lived in the neighborhood. Now after touring Arizona, trying Texas and even Los Angeles mexican food. I came back here after all these years only to find the same family here running this place. Best tacos I’ve ever had in my life, hands down.

The service was phenomenal and the food was tasty (albeit a little on the salty side for my taste). Plenty of vegetarian options!

Small restaurant with capacity of around 15. Fabulous food. I got the best chips and salsa ever as soon as I sat down. The salsa was warm. Had vegetarian tacos and gorditas, both were amazing. To be honest, the vegetarian options are limited, but whatever I had was great. Better to pay you bill with cash, they have a $2.50 surcharge for credit card payments. In short, I would go here again, if anything for the chips and salsa.
