The food is delicious, highly recommend the quesadilla gigantes, the tortillas are freshly made. Tortillas and great salsa come free of charge if you dine in.

Just moved here from san diego/tijuana. This place is proper, had barbacoa and suadero. Im sure other cuts are good as well, will be back to try

This restaurant was one of my favorites though out the years but a year from now had a while that I didn't go back until today took my kids to eat their they like their quesadilla the food is good can't complain but didn't understand that they charge you for a hidden service 20% more off your ticket when it's more then 4 people I know the economy is bad but it's not fair to pay all ready almost $26.00 more of what you already consume my bill was 40 +tax and the service fee it all came out to $70 at this rate they are not going to have any people if they keep on doing this

Finally! I have been looking for a great taquiera since my favorite neighborhood Tiera Caliente closed its doors a couple of years ago. I think I found it! I ordered delivery via Grub Hub. Everything was neatly packaged and still warm. The food was delicious! All the way down to the salsas. The red one was spicy. The green...even spicier 😛. The guacamole tasted fresh. They even threw in some slices of lime. It's pretty pricy, so I probably won't order all the time, but if I could I would!

Dietary restrictions: You choose your ingredients! Corn or flour tortilla, what you want atop your taco/burrito, etc.

Authentic Mexican food that is worth the try. I come from across the city just for their delicious Carne en su jugo bowl and mole enchiladas!!! Keep up the authenticity Mexican dishes alive.

Parking: During breakfast and lunchtime parking is easy to find.

Outstanding food and customer service! I highly recommend Taqueria El Mezquite. What especially speaks highly of Taqueria El Mezquite is how they genuinely cared and quickly resolved a minor issue with our order. They went above and beyond, which shows their commitment to providing the best food and service. Truly a great place!

Will definitely be one of my go to places when I’m in the city. The food is amazing, the quesadillas de chicharrón wow. The menudo was very tasty and had great flavor. Highly recommend!

Went yesterday with a group of 5, when I informed the cashier/server we are paying separate she was annoyed and said we are all being charged 20 percent extra for not paying on 1 card. When I asked for sour cream she told me I the sour cream was under the burrito. I don't know who puts sour cream under a burrito but there wasn't any. I asked for extra and she rudely said thats 3 dollars extra. The food was mediocre, the meat was hard a chewy and I ordered chicken. By the time I got home my stomach was so upset everything came out in water form. I Def do not recommend this place again. They did nit make our group feel welcomed period.

I had the Mole con Pollo. It could have been spicier but it was excellent nonetheless. The don’t have alcoholic beverages, but they permit you to bring your own. The warm salsa they serve with the opening chips was the best I have ever had. I was having lunch with a Mexican chef from Oaxaca, and confirmed it as very good. Service was very friendly and very helpful. Two thumbs up.

It was a nice night out at the patio area but it was packed service was still excellent just a little wait. The huarache was huge! and delicious the asada was well seasoned and cooked just right i definitely recommend this. Tacos pastor was well seasoned also just a tad salty but still good. The cecina was my favorite taco and with a tamarindo to wash it down to hit the spot. Prices are reasonable I would recommend place.

Very good salsas, huaraches are delicious. Unfortunately they don't know how to cook a carne tampiquen̈a... other than that the food is very good.
