La Taqueria El Primo is one of the best Mexican restaurants, offering absolutely delicious, super flavorful, and authentic food. The place has a nice atmosphere, feeling quite warm and inviting and well decorated. The food is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served hot with huge portions for a very good price. Specific highlights include the simply awesome quessabirria, with huge chunks of tender beef in an amazing gravy that is not at all greasy, and the Quesabirrias with consome. The Al pastor is amazing, the steak torta is the biggest one, and the stewed birria is perfectly cooked. It is a great spot for fruit and elote in the summer. The service is outstanding, friendly, attentive, and fast, with a friendly and welcoming owner. The restaurant is also BYOB. Highly recommended, it is a go-to spot that will not disappoint.
