The food is delicious. I went with my family and we ordered some quesabirrias with their consommé, two asada tacos, asada cake, hamburger with their order of potatoes and an order of chicken wings. What can I tell you, how me and my children were satisfied with their horchata meals and drinks and the strawberry smoothie. They want us to return as soon as possible.
Excellent service thank you 🙏

Parking: I parked in the bank parking lot but there is paid parking on the street. I knew I wasn’t going to be long and didn’t want to pay.

The quesabirrias didn't disappoint for what I paid. It was a good value and the consome had more birria in them. I wasn't expecting the extra birria. They only use one tortilla and the chorizo torta was huge in size but it had no flavor and meat looked under cooked.

I have been here many times and would have given it a dive star bit lately it has been a big disappointment. The chips were hard and stale. The steak was dried put and tough with no flavor. The salsas were not good. When I asked for a to go box they packaged up just the dried out steak and left behind the avocado slices,
poblamo peppers, onions, lettuce, and tomato so I had to throw out he food. Not worth $50 for two.

I recently visited Taqueria El Primo and had a mixed experience. The red house salsa was amazing and really stood out as a highlight of the meal. However, the service was a bit slow, which was disappointing.

As for the food, the steak tacos were served in large portions, but unfortunately, the meat was flavorless, mushy, and chewy. On the other hand, the ribeye tacos were made with better quality meat and had a better flavor, but they still lacked that desired char on the outside. The rice and beans were okay, but nothing remarkable.

Overall, the restaurant was just okay, but it didn’t offer anything particularly special. While the red house salsa was a hit, the rest of the experience was underwhelming.

The tampiqueña is always a great choice for the steak lovers. Great porción, the sizes are really good, rice and bears, a quesadilla, salad with lettuce, tomate, avocado and Orange slices, grille Springs onions and a jalapeño peppers toreado, and of course nice hot tortillas.

Also the quesabirrias with the consume, deliciosas.
Tacos and gorritas the bomb!!!

If you are going to order from El Primo, or you're going to eat there make sure you bring your big appetite!!!
Great job, familia Mejia.

The chips and salsa was quite good so my expectations for the entrees were set pretty high, but the meats really fell short. Everything was dry and lacking flavor.

We hired Taquería El Primo for a taquiza to celebrate my son's graduation. I worked with Martin who responded quickly and kept me updated frequently. Their prices were incredibly reasonable compared to other spots we called. They even included horchata and agua de Jamaica free. We had steak, al pastor, and chicken - the chicken was a little dry - and added on rice & beans, the beans were amazing! They brought all the condiments and plate/utensils. Their chile de árbol salsa was fire! Martin and staff were friendly, punctual, and worked hard. Will definitely use again.

The chicken taco was dry and looked like crumbled eggs, the steak was also dry, the rice was mushy. Really worst tacos i’ve ever had and poor customer service.
