I’ve been to plenty of Mexican restaurants all over the city, but this place has the BEST tacos i’ve had in Chicago, Hands down. This is the place to go!!

Ordered a steak burrito with extra meat and 3 tacos. The total was probably cheaper than a single bowl or burrito at Chipotle.

Ordered the steak taco dinner with a side of chips and salsa. Tacos were amazing as were the refried beans and rice. Chips were freshly cooked and had a great crisp to them. I wasn’t crazy about the salsa, but would definitely go back for everything else.
Been my local spot for years now, great food, friendly staff and they have a lot of home style dishes that are hard to find. Highly recommend trying their green pozole, carne en su juego, and the homemade gorditas. Cecine and pastor are always good here, as authentic as it gets.
