I tried the carne en su jugo and overall it was a good dish. Hearty and flavorful. The broth had a rich taste that tied everything together nicely. The only downsides for me were that the bacon came out a bit on the salty side, and the chunks of carne asada were chopped a little larger than I prefer. If the meat were cut smaller and the seasoning on the bacon balanced out, it would have been close to perfect. Still, it’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a flavorful...
Best place hands down for carne en su jugo. The service is also very good, only downside is that it is a cash only establishment fyi. Doesn’t matter because the food is fantastic.
We visited on Sunday morning with two kids!We always get the carne en su jugo which was delicious! The only thing that caught me by surprise was the $10.50 charge for 3 - 8oz styrofoam cups of water.I didn’t think I’d be charged at all quite frankly - we never specified that we wanted them to goWe asked for plain water for our meals.The food is good and done well, just be weary of ordering water! You will be charged almost as much as an agua fresca. Yikes.
