Everything good food is amazing but there is a certain female waiter that is so rude and dismissing.

We ordered green and red pozole to go. Green was chicken 1 serving, red we got a gallon pork pozole. The gave us all the fixings including avocado. The flavor was great, I prefer green pork pozole but it was delicious. That's all we ordered but definitely worth the google review.

Rolled into Taqueria Ometepec Guerrero on 63rd—ended up spending roughly $18 on 2 steak tacos and a caldo de res. Tacos were legit juicy and seasoned just right, and that caldo hit the spot. Place is cozy and staff were real friendly, but it got a bit tight inside. Would’ve liked faster seating. Still solid, real tasty spot in West Lawn.

This spot on 63rd & Pulaski is a hidden gem for real-deal Mexican eats. I grabbed the red pozole ($8.99) and a couple of tacos—one al pastor and one carne asada ($6.99 each). The pozole was packed with flavor, and the tacos were loaded with meat and perfectly seasoned. Service was quick and friendly, and I was in and out in no time. Total came to about $23—well worth it for the quality and portion sizes.

Twice I’ve tried ordering from this place on Uber eats and twice they cancelled my order. My kids were looking forward to it and now they’re disappointed. This place used to be the go to spot but not now more
Best place in the whole neighborhood, been eating here for 5+ years.

Recently and gone 3 times this week. I have placed my takeout orders. Because first of all there is a draining aroma. It would be good if the owners would focus on fixing it or they will lose all their takeaway customers. The food is good. But it's hot and the place is small.
Always just as good
It is a small place but with a lot of seasoning they make a delicious comfortable ??

I stopped working to come in here to have dinner and when I walked in the energy was completely off(should’ve followed my gut). I asked can I dine-in and the answer was yes (obviously) but I had to get my own menu and sit down. Mind you a couple that’s not black was greeted totally different lol. Grabbed their menus for them and was not told the price of the items they were ordering ? I asked for the red salsa which I just seen on the previous customers table but was informed the green salsa was all that was available?. Megan the Stallion came on the tv and the lady literally turned the tv because I was listening/watching? I couldn’t even finish my food I was so disgusted.
Do better or hire someone that treats everyone equally ✊?

It's a special place. The Guerrero owners brought something special to Chicago. I come from south Chicago for good pozole. Many grains and with legs. Since I tried the red pozole, I have returned several times for a plate. Very tasty with leg and pieces of chicharron, it is something very authentic! The small portions are the reason I didn't give them five stars.
