We ordered green and red pozole to go. Green was chicken 1 serving, red we got a gallon pork pozole. The gave us all the fixings including avocado. The flavor was great, I prefer green pork pozole but it was delicious. That's all we ordered but definitely worth the google review.
Rolled into Taqueria Ometepec Guerrero on 63rd—ended up spending roughly $18 on 2 steak tacos and a caldo de res. Tacos were legit juicy and seasoned just right, and that caldo hit the spot. Place is cozy and staff were real friendly, but it got a bit tight inside. Would’ve liked faster seating. Still solid, real tasty spot in West Lawn.
This spot on 63rd & Pulaski is a hidden gem for real-deal Mexican eats. I grabbed the red pozole ($8.99) and a couple of tacos—one al pastor and one carne asada ($6.99 each). The pozole was packed with flavor, and the tacos were loaded with meat and perfectly seasoned. Service was quick and friendly, and I was in and out in no time. Total came to about $23—well worth it for the quality and portion sizes.
