This is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Every meal iāve tried is flavorful, worth plenty of toppings. Meat isnāt chewy or too greasy. The Huarache estilo DF is something i highly recommend! Truly canāt go wrong with anything there.

My place away from home!! Food is amazing! Tacos have so much flavor! Tortillas made fresh! The salsas are to die for! Prices are high but worth the flavor! Tampiquenia is delicious! Burritos are a bit small but are good. Enchiladas mmmm so good! They have been here for yearssss and I can taste why!
I waited 30 minutes for my carne en su jugo, only to be deeply disappointed. The meat was completely flavorless, overly chewy, and riddled with fat and nervio/gristle. Every spoonful was an unpleasant experience. It was so bad that I couldnāt finish it and had to leave it at the table, still paying my tab. If youāre looking for good carne en su jugo, this is definitely not the place.

Iām mad I didnāt go to this place earlier. The best Mexican food Iāve had in Chicago. Being from Texas, nothing ever hit the spot quite right when it came to Mexican food around here. I finally found the place that reminds me of home and itās just down the block from my apartment. I canāt say enough good things about this place. The service is impeccable, they donāt crowd you but donāt keep you waiting for anything either. The food is to die for, I havenāt had anything here that I havenāt loved. Thank you, taqueria tayahua, for existing at the same time that I live down the street, I love you!

Worst taqueria ever. Bad service, dirty place all around since you entered. First time there and they give you some cold grease chips on the table we ordered 2 asada tacos $5.50 each and they were regular size not impressed. One quesadilla huitlacoche $6.95 ānothing to write home aboutā and we ask for more chips to eat with the salsa and they didnāt say anything but they charged us $3.75 for them. So final thought Never eat at this restaurant again! ??????
