Pozole, carne en su jugo, and caldo de camaron are all delicious. Hearty tacos des asada. They also have a couple house specialties. My favorite neighborhood restaurant.

Was in the neighborhood visiting friends. Wanted to find a tacqueria. Found this place. Had steak tacos and rice. Nothing stellar was decent. There was only one tortilla on the taco. I am used to two tortillas per taco. Rice ok, was lacking a little flavor. Wasn't bad but wasn't memorable. There's several places in the area I'm sure we could have done better. Horchata was excellent.
Sorry totally forgot about the pic I ordered chilaquiles rojos con cecina y huevos that were great! Very friendly and clean place definitely recommend it, won’t forget the pic next time definitely be back here again!!

$8.26 was costly for 2 lengua tacos with only 1 tortilla per taco. that would be fine, but the chips where RANCID( ate one and threw the rest out. both the meat and salsa where BLAND/ not good. if I hadn't ordered it to go, I would have sent it back

Great Food and Service. I could not say a negative thing to say about my visit. They do have a sign that says they only accept debit cards so keep that in mind and bring cash if you don't want to use a debit card. I had the Ranch Steak and my wife had the Tampiquiena and both were perfect. The rice and beans on her plate and the rice and salad on my plate tasted great. The hand made tortillas are a treat that not enough restaurants offer. I wish Google would delete negative reviews that do not elaborate the reason for being unhappy and post bad reviews.
