I love this place, I really do. We go to or order from regularly in the evening as it is close and food is reliably good. BUT, I took a friend to lunch yesterday. With a reservation we were seated in the back bar by the obnoxious wall of tv screens. The guests in line behind us were seated in the front room...WHAT??? Today I visited Taste 222 with my high school friend and I have to say, the atmosphere was fantastic—warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The service was mostly attentive, which made for a pleasant visit. However, when it came to the food, I was disappointed. I love this place! Not only is it conveniently located right off of my greenline stop, but they have an amazing happy hour and the actual restaurant is also a great place to stop in and get some work done during the day.
