Turkey club is not a good choice. It was dry even with a brioche bread, on a top of turkey meat that was not true roasted turkey but an awful deli version. Not something I'd expect from a restaurant I dined in before. Everything else was fantastic.

Very Dissatisfied with the service for several reasons, 1. Server was not attentive - only stopped by 2x, despite the fact that the place was not busy. I felt ignored. I'll let that one pass. 2. This one I will not let pass. After my meal I ordered food to go and requested the portions or ingredients be separated from the bread. I received the order in a stapled bag and I asked if my request / instructions were followed and she said “yes” So I believe it. ( this one is on me for not double checking) when I got home the bread was soggy!!! 3. I don't understand why service charges are still being put in on bills.

Loved the option of a half salad. I still couldn't finish it. It was fresh and delicious. Service was attentive. Will be back.

Hot inside the restaurant with a movable fan set up by the table for some relief- AC must be broken. Oysters were room temp and small, whoever made the calamari fried the lemon slices with the squid, no attention to detail. Burger was bland. Not surprised there were a lot of open reservations.

Excellent food, beautiful restaurant, fabulous cocktails, great atmosphere - I return here often and have never been disappointed. They also have very good options for bigger groups, more private seating, etc. Highly recommend!

Mandatory charged 20% tip and 3.5% surcharge. We are group of three. I don't understand. When I ask waiter, she behaves like this is normal, and you should not ask.

Great food and excellent service, hanger steak was cooked to perfection. Vodka Gimlet was just the way we like them. Chicken thighs were outstanding and our guest said it was the best spinach he ever had.
The food, drinks and interior decor/set up was great. The only problem was there was NO air conditioning in the restaurant. And it was 90+ degrees outside. It was incredibly hot and sticky, and uncomfortable. When I asked the waitress if their A/C was out, she just responded with I don't know I'm sorry, and gave me a blank stare. And let us keep the menus at the table so we can legitimately fan ourselves. Stayed enough to eat appetizers and finish our drinks since it would have been impossible to find another last minute reservation elsewhere. Would love to come back but never in the summer.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner on the veranda the night before our wedding and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and plentiful. The veranda's cafe lights created such a lovely ambiance. I looked high and low for a restaurant with good food, outdoor space, and fair prices in the loop, and Taureaux was the best across the board. The events team was experienced and communicative. They made planning a breeze, even for this anxious bride. Highly recommend for private events!

PHENOMENAL everything! My husband and I were on our way to Navy Pier, walking through Chicago to celebrate our one year marriage anniversary. Found out our usual place to eat was closed, so we wandered around! We found this place and decided to try it! Best decision ever! We had the prime steak frites! The meat was delicious, the fries were seasoned perfectly, and the sauce complimented everything!
Our server was wonderful! He was very polite, funny, and pleasant all around! The staff was also wonderful! The gentleman that refills water made sure that we never refilled our own glasses! He always took our plates away, almost immediately once we finished!
We will absolutely be coming back next year to celebrate!
