Excellent lunch option with a great location. Taureaux's lunch options were great and you will not leave there hungry. Top notch service as we were checked on by multiple team members about our experience, but not in an intrusive way. Very nice experience and I need to check out their dinner and bar another time. Great venue.
I scheduled a dinner for our HR Leadership team. That's right, the bar excellent, shakers and movers dedicated to people hiring and development for the Amsted Rail Company. Reservation planning was a cinch for 8 on a Monday. Three scenario “what if” phone calls, because I have great leaders and so many questions. Wonderful, accommodating and courteous defines this restaurant team - yet, Tauraux Tavern Bar and Brasserie is anything but a restaurant- it was an unexpected celebrated surprise. Food and Service-fantastic! Well done! Thank you isn't enough.
Lunch with 3 friends. Quiche, Onion soup and Lobster bites, Cobb salad with lobster. All were outstanding. Generous portion of lobster added to salad for $12. Worth it. Quiche was creamy and delicious. The lobster bites are more like a cheesy thermidor little casserole, and they pack so much flavor into the little dish. Very rich, as is the soup, so know that you will need some cardiac exercise after eating these items. Would be worth it.
the food was delicious and we loved our server, but they could’ve turned the lights way down. it threw off the vibe

cocktails were just ok. Bartender was not very friendly and very slow service. Gave customers lots of funny faces.

The food was super delicious, we ordered a pasta in vodka sauce with shrimp! It's just a little spicy but very delicious and for starters we ordered some calamari! 10 out of 10 this place

Pretty dead for a Thursday evening last week, but there were several tables and only one waitress. She was trying but the service was definitely underwhelming.
The chicken wings were ok....not a lot of flavor
The chicken sandwich was cooked properly, but was small for the $16 price.
The steak fritter was good but nothing to write home about.
Overall acceptable.

Restaurantji Recommends
By the numbers French restaurant, but well executed, with no significant flaws, at most that their salt tolerance was a bit higher than ours. Staff is personable and helpful, though missed the little details you find in the top restaurants. The decor is spartan, not to say inexistent, but the ample windows to the park outside give it a spacious feeling.

Taureaux Tavern exceeded my expectations! The food, service, and atmosphere were great! I got the salmon and it was superb. The skin was crispy and it was cooked to my liking. It was also very flavorful!

This place is top shelf all the way. Menu is five star with reasonable prices. Even the 3% addition was not too much of a hit. There were few patrons even for a Monday evening. Weekends must be when they make payroll.
