This is my 4th time here and every time we've had consistent great service and food. The portions are generous and food quality and taste are excellent. Definitely recommend here, especially for brunch.

This place has a great menu. Chocolate martinis are outstanding. The atmosphere is clean friendly trendy and comfortable. We go there at least twice a week. Only negative is that parking is a block away. That really is not a true complaint. It's like that in any Urban restaurant community. I've also been to a few parties upstairs as they have a nice section for parties and gatherings.

I had my office holiday party last week. It was an amazing time. The owner, bartenders, and staff served us all so well. Shoutout to Hugo! I will definitely be back with my family to try out more of their menu.

Nice atmosphere. The seasoning of the food was nice, but the steak and beef on sandwiches were chewy. The service was OK, the server didn’t greet us for a while until another server noticed.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at Tavern on the Point. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfectly balanced between upscale and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was perfect. The food was incredible. Every dish was served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they put out. The drinks were just as impressive—expertly mixed and presented beautifully. Service was quick, the vibe was great, and the entire experience felt effortless in the best way. Whether you're going for a casual night out, a dinner with friends, or a special occasion, Tavern on the Point is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!
Stopped in with a group during a business trip and I was impressed by the service along with friendly and welcoming atmosphere the staff created. Even though we were all from out of town, we immediately felt at home like we were going to our local hangouts. To top it all off the food was fantastic!

We had a party of 18. Made reservations weeks ahead of time. We have now been here for over 3 hours. They pieced our party together with small round tables. Took forever for our food. Took forever to pay. And on top of all that the food was under whelming. Forgot the meatballs on the spaghetti and meatball order. Soup tasted like dish water. The Asiago chicken had zero flavor. Only thing that was enjoyable were the poppers.

Just hosted a group of friends and our kids in the upstairs bar/party room for the football game and it couldn’t have been a better time! This space is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The staff was wonderful and the food + drinks were great. We’ll definitely be having more parties here soon!

Tavern on the Point in Chicago’s Edison Park neighborhood impresses with its vibrant rooftop vibe and elevated American comfort food, where standout dishes like the surf and turf burger deliver bold flavors and generous portions, perfectly complemented by a solid selection of craft cocktails and beers during happy hour. The modern industrial interior and outdoor seating create a lively atmosphere ideal for gatherings or casual nights out, with friendly staff ensuring smooth service even on busier evenings. While the noise level can get a bit overwhelming indoors and wait times for rooftop spots might require some patience during peak seasons, the overall quality and neighborhood charm make it a reliable four-star choice that stands out among local pubs.
I went with colleagues for a quick drink and snacks. Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.
