This is based on service alone. Manager this evening is pompous, and has 0 customer service or managerial edicate. When booking a table beware that your preference/needs will not be honored. The manager was very clear that the booking g preference is just an error... there are other establishments in Edison park that are happy to accommodate and are glad for your patronage... skip tavern on point

They have great lunch specials right now. I had a small salad, cup of minestrone and 1/2 of a club sandwich for $15.00. Then a well drink was only $3.00 with lunch so we ordered cranberry and vodka. Not a bad deal. Going back again with other friends next week.

We went for a birthday dinner for a first time visit. The waitress took great care of us and the food was great. They gave us a free dessert because of my birthday.

Despite checking online ahead of time to see what events/entertainment were planned for the evening, there was no mention of the (high school?) band that began playing downstairs shortly after 6pm. In a spirit of generosity, they were painfully loud and made enjoying a meal impossible. Also, at the time of making a reservation, I was required to choose standard or high top dining downstairs, on the downstairs patio, or on the upstairs patio. After checking with my husband, we chose the upstairs patio. However, upon arrival we were told the entire upstairs was closed for a private event. So we were seated in a booth with a view of trash can, which didn't really matter too much since we raced to finish our food and leave once the "band" started playing. I would say check the website for bands and other scheduled events, which I always do here, but on this date they were promoting Thursday night football and had no mention of either the private event or the band right next to the front door (or the display tables at the front of the dining room, which also took up the very limited seating available due to the upstairs being closed). This was our most disappointing trip to Tavern on the Point.

We came at a strange time of day, mid-afternoon for happy hour. Great service from Justin and great HH deals too. Had a great time with good food and drinks. Going back soon!

Met up with coworkers for a group dinner. The food was very good, presentation was excellent and service was attentive but not overbearing.
Great Atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop patio. Food was above average. The bar added a bottle of whiskey to a large drink tab, which was never ordered. It was deducted after concerns were expressed. The employee appeared casual about the mistake, which makes it difficult not to question many of the other drinks on the tab. Will I go back? Only if there is an event, however I will be reviewing all charges and will advise anyone else I am with to do the same.

Ate on the main floor patio - 5 of us and a dog. Music was enjoyed by all- 13-59 year olds. Mary P and Sam our wait staff was the best ever. Food had some unique combinations and was excellent. We will be back!!!! Thanks for a great experience!

Made reservations a week prior for the rooftop dining room which my party was looking forward to. When we arrived we were told they booked a party for said space and but us in a booth next to the bar. Not quite the atmosphere we were going for. Food and value were great!
